Job Purpose
Perform all tasks involved in the production of MCPP's resins/plastic compounds including batch mixing,
extruder operation, housekeeping, health and safety. Follow standard work methods and practice safe
work habits to ensure production is run in an efficient and safe manner.
Principal Accountabilities
The functions below are not all inclusive of the duties for this position. Other responsibilities may be
assigned as deemed necessary.
1. Will be required to complete production work orders recording information including lot numbers
and quantities of raw materials used during production.
2. Will operate a variety of production machinery and equipment including extruders, cut machines,
dry heat ovens and mixers. Position must follow work instructions, quality specifications and
operational procedures.
3. Will use standard and specialized tools and equipment including hand tools, cleaners, micrometers,
gauges, and customer fixtures and apparatus.
4. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety
regulations.
5. Comply with all Safety procedures, including PPE, LOTO and safe lifting techniques.
6. Reads and understands production packages in order to produce product accurately and efficiently.
7. Performs work as assigned by supervisor on duty.
8. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Supervisor.
9. May perform prescribed preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on machines as
required.
10. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. High School Diploma or equivalent or three years of experience in a similar position
2. The position will be required to perform basic math, read and write English.
3. Must be computer literate.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
1. Experience in polymers/plastic for medical device , automotive or aerospace applications -
preference given to medical
2. Understanding of ISO13485 strongly preferred
3. Experience in batch processing
4. Knowledge of production based optimization, scheduling, capacity assessment helpful
5. Skilled in equipment assessments and preventative maintenance
6. Experience in IQ,OP,PQ processes
7. Familiarity with 5S/6S systems
8. GMP or GLP and/or FDA manufactured component experience/knowledge preferred
9. Familiarity with basic computer functions desired.
10. Must have good mechanical aptitude.
11. Able to maintain production reports/records as required.
12. Able to perform basic set-ups on these machines and tools that are used in them.
13. Must be able to become certified in the operation of a forklift per company requirements.
14. Must be able to work as an active member of a team.

The Production Operator III position is designed for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in our testing area. In this role, you will engage with various production modules, performing tests and documenting results. While troubleshooting is not part of this position, you will be responsible for executing tests and accurately recording both passing and failing data.
Key Roles, Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
+ Follows complex test specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions in order to perform a variety of routine standard tests which required reading, interpreting and verifying specifications using simple test stand setups
+ Assists in complex tests involving the simultaneous use of a wide variety of standard test equipment.
+ Determines quality of equipment being tested by checking rest results against specific test procedures and data sheets.
+ Performs troubleshooting activities, sub-assemblies to component level, diagnoses minor deficiencies in equipment and recommends rework where necessary.
As you develop your skills and expertise, this position offers a pathway for those interested in advancing to a Test Technician role in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience in a dynamic production environment.

**Position Summary**
To manufacture/test medical device assemblies (including all lower-level sub-assemblies and accessories) in a temperature-controlled clean room environment. To utilize a wide range of equipment, fixtures, gages and hand tools to manufacture assemble and test medical device products. To maintain all logs, forms and resulting paperwork. To carry out all facets of medical device assembly including organization of workflow and training of personnel at all levels.
**Principal Responsibilities**
- Manufacture, inspect and package products following written processes
- Work at a pace that meets established time standards while making quality product
- Performs visual inspection of parts/materials to identify quality issues or workmanship deficiencies related to equipment, assembly and inspection processes, materials, sub-assemblies, and manufacturing environment
- Comply with GMP requirements by maintaining individual training records, completing data entry in production records in a timely and accurate manner, and adhering to documented manufacturing practices and procedures as defined in Quality Systems Procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Comply with all policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Escalate production issues, quality concerns, or equipment abnormalities to senior operators or supervisors as needed
- Participate in hands-on training to build proficiency in cleanroom equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Seek guidance and feedback from experienced team members to improve skills and meet performance expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Education / Experience Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- Prior medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be able to read and understand policies, procedures, and processes written in English.
- Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to complete Assembler Quality System Training.
