What You Will Be Doing:
- Handling glass from tables, rolling racks, for eight to twelve hours daily.
- Transporting materials including glass from one position/location.
- Following work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process, understand and communicate paperwork and labels/ picking list.
- Inspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry is preferred (not required).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and/or Branch Manager.
- Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity).

Job Summary (Purpose):
The Utility Worker primarily works in the outside production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility. The employee is responsible for the processing of cylinders (20 lb. barbeque grill cylinders).

- Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team
- Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
- Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear the proper PPE
- Ensure the consistent quality of cylinders are being processed
- Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day's shipments.
- Ability to stand and walk 8 - 12 hours per day.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team
- Willingness to grow and learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer knowledge
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to stand 8-10 hours per day
- Ability to obtain required state licensing
- Ability to be forklift certified
- 1 - 2 years work experience in manufacturing is preferred

Summary of Primary Functions: Places steel, strand, and concrete in bed as necessary for the production of a concrete member. Strips and cleans bed for next pour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
Receives instructions, rolls torches, steel and tool buggies to bed and unloads.
Uncovers bed, removes, sided forms if applicable, detentions' bed, removed bulkheads, removes block outs and cutbacks with railroad bar, cleans and oils bed.
Lays out rebar, plates, loops, channel and insulations, etc.
Pulls strand, threading bulkheads, block outs, frames and dead man, and; cuts strand with grinder and places chucks on ends.
Places and ties rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and places form and side plates.
Prepares for pour - blows out bed with air hose and receives pouring tools.
Receives concrete, hooks up air hoses, spread and vibrates concrete with spud vibrator, vibra trak, or vibrating screed.
Places insulation and C ties in bed, if applicable, scrapes rails, sweeps up excess concrete around bed, collects all tools and materials, and puts them away in tool chest or returns to warehouse.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience : High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
