Position Summary
YMCA Sports Program Leader provides meaningful and enriching opportunities for youth in YMCA programs. The Sports Program Leader will assist in the building with growth, facilitation, and supervision. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, interactive, structured, and well-supervised environment during sports coaching and instruction. Within this role, the Sports Program Leader will work to build and establish relationships with community and facility members at our branch and offsite sports program locations. Individuals hired for this position will work under the supervision of the Sports Director, and will need to be flexible, willing to take initiative and be punctual.
Job Responsibilities
Attendance & Punctuality
- Arrive to work as scheduled and on time.
- Attend Sports Department staff meetings.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Assess the functions of the program-run refreshers on sports, team building, listening, and respect as needed to create a safe and welcoming environment.
- Lead and participate in Sports programming.
- Ensure the delivery method, content, and facilitation meet child-safe protocols as outlined by YMCA of San Francisco.
- Utilize Out of School Time best practices to ensure consistent and safe programming.
- Plan youth program activities with parent, participant, and staff input.
- Ensure all youth programs meet safety and security requirements per YMCA of San Francisco guidelines.
- Know and follow guidelines from the YMCA San Francisco Child Care Staff Manual.
- Complete all mandatory ADP LMS safety training and Y-USA e-Learning before the first shift in the facility.
- Uphold YMCA policies for safety, supervision, mandated reporting, and risk management.
- Maintain necessary administrative records for programming, including:
- Sign-in/sign-out sheets
- Logbook
- Emergency information
- Policies and procedures
- Set a positive example for all staff, children, and volunteers.
- Communicate respectfully with staff, participants, parents, and volunteers.

This position operates in a dynamic, active recreational environment that includes indoor gymnasiums and outdoor play areas. The role requires frequent standing, walking, running, bending, and physical engagement in sports and youth activities. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds as needed. Occasional exposure to varying weather conditions may occur during outdoor activities. The ability to maintain high energy levels and positive interactions with youth in a fast-paced environment is essential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must have 2+ years of experience working with youth (Middle School or High School)
- Must be highly motivated to provide quality out of school time opportunities to youth

- Knowledge or expertise in youth development
- Must be comfortable leading physical activities with youth
- Must have experience coaching or training youth in sports

The Successful Candidate Will
- As the PDM representative on the Gilead Program Strategy Team, translate business strategy and PST vision into the PDM plan for execution, bring technical issues to the team and influence decision making and strategy. Proactively raise issues and options to the strategy teams and ensure consistent application of enterprise-wide prioritization principles. Ensure that technical perspectives and concerns are reflected in the strategic plans for the assigned products.
- Direct Process Development and Analytical Development teams to ensure effective and timely progression of pipeline projects and CMC life-cycle planning. Job Description
Are you looking to join a growing engineering consulting firm that offers valuable solutions to challenges faced by our gas and electric utilities clients? We're seeking Project Managers to strategically manage the project portfolio by optimizing project schedules, controlling scope of work, managing project budgets, and partnering with key stakeholders to ensure all timelines and deliverables are being met.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide project leadership and expertise to the portfolio, drive contractor stakeholders, and partner with government agencies & community parties on project matters. Acting as the liaison between government & regulatory agencies and community groups as required
+ Develop, define & control project scope, create & maintain project schedules, gather work plans including cost, resource, contingency, and communication plans. Adjusting project scope & schedule as appropriate to accommodate change.
+ Identify project performance issues, analyze, and address them in a timely manner.
+ Implement project post cost management measures to accurately track & monitor project financials to ensure projects are financially healthy.
+ Travel to project sites & meetings throughout the project territory.
**_This is a hybrid remote & onsite role that will regularly require_** **_support at project sites in California as well as visits to the client office_**

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Min 1 year of experience functioning in a project administration, project operations, project controls and/or project management capacity within a fast-paced environment where you owned the process life cycle(s) from beginning to end
+ Underground Construction Background, preferably in Utilities - Gas or Electric
+ Ability to lead projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
+ General project management experience. Ability to manage cost, budget, schedule, and coordinate site walks as necessary
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with SAP, Primavera Unifier, ProjectWise, Tableau, PowerBI
+ PMP Certification - **Desired**

& Salary:**
+ This position pays between $91,000 and $120,000 annually and is an exempt position.
+ Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
