As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with other office personnel, supporting various aspects of project management and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret work orders, statements of work (SOW), proposals, quotes, and estimates.
Gather and organize necessary documents and materials from Sales/Estimation teams, such as blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Coordinate job start meetings, including crew and site lead assignments.
Liaise with Purchasing to ensure material availability, staging, and ordering.
Work with the Warehouse to manage the availability and staging of tools and equipment.
Allocate manpower and update scheduling software accordingly.
Communicate with customers to confirm start and end dates, and coordinate schedules with project managers, leads, and technicians.
Process change orders and requests for information (RFIs).
Track job financials, monitor budgets, and ensure performance aligns with financial goals.
Verify daily logs and oversee job closeout and auditing processes.
Coordinate field training and work with customers on any changes to timelines, schedules, or project demands.
Develop project plans and schedules, and coordinate with sub-contractors as needed.
Schedule site walks and manage site clearances, badging procedures, and other access requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Leads on material management, shipping, and permit acquisition.
Coordinate travel arrangements for project teams.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to pass post-offer drug screening, physical, background check, and Livescan fingerprint checks.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working within a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with network solutions and service offerings is a plus.
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or FileMaker is a strong plus.
Familiarity with personal computers and various software packages.

  • Special Assignments
    • Execute various tasks that may not fall under scope of any other department employee
    • Examples from the past year: setting up new vendors, coordinating special equipment transfer, assisting in meshing operational functions with AR, observing and altering maintenance practices, analyzing department financial impact on Niagara, attending factory acceptance tests to commission new equipment for shipment, supervising five mechanics on diagnostic visits, and calculating various data based on minimal initial data, etc.
  • Travel Requirements: Approximately 100% of the year

Large law firm seeks a highly experienced Litigation Support Project Manager to oversee eDiscovery, litigation support and practice management technologies for complex legal matters. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, customer service, and legal process understanding. This position requires a proactive, problem-solving approach, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal and technical challenges.

Responsible for the comprehensive management of all phases of litigation support and eDiscovery projects. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact and liaison between legal teams, clients, co-counsel and external and internal service providers. The Project Manager leverages advanced technology and industry best practices to ensure that eDiscovery, litigation support and practice management projects are handled efficiently and effectively throughout the firm.

Provide strategic oversight, coordination, training, and ongoing maintenance of the firm's portfolio of litigation support and practice management technologies.

  • Assist with the identification, selection, testing and implementation of new litigation support and practice management technologies, particularly as it may involve the incorporation of artificial intelligence. This may include the assignment and tracking of tasks to other litigation support roles.
  • Assist with the development of the yearly litigation support budget.
  • Responsible for handling all aspects of document/ESI processing, hosting and production, including assisting with the identification of responsive data. Coordinate (or perform if necessary) activities such as hosting platform administration, data processing, loading, quality control and productions.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and retrieval of legal documents and data, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
  • Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the forensic collection of documents/ESI in conjunction with internal and external collection experts.
  • Consult with case teams and clients to develop, define and execute comprehensive eDiscovery strategies, project plans, and workflows tailored to specific matter needs, requirements and preferences.
  • Assist legal teams and clients with the development and implementation of effective data culling, filtering, and keyword strategies. Consult on and implement the use of Technology Assisted Review (TAR), advanced analytics (e.g., conceptual clustering, near-duplicate identification, email threading, sentiment analysis), and review/quality control workflow design.
  • Collaborate with case teams to develop, track, and monitor eDiscovery budgets, fees, and costs. Identify, report, and address matters with significant budget variances, and optimize cost management.
  • Assist with the assessment, selection, and management of external eDiscovery and managed review service providers, including obtaining bids, evaluating proposals, and overseeing vendor performance, troubleshooting, and invoicing.
  • In coordination with vendors, the IT Department and the TSC, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to eDiscovery, litigation support and practice management platforms.
  • Assist with management of litigation support data repositories.
  • Provide hands-on consultation and training on the effective and efficient use of eDiscovery software and the firm's litigation support and practice management technologies.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Litigation Support team, case teams, IT department and various firm departments to ensure seamless project execution and optimal resource utilization.
  • Stay apprised of industry trends, legal developments, case law and new technologies as it applies to the firm's eDiscovery, litigation support and practice management initiatives and strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the development of firm-wide eDiscovery and litigation support best practices, policies, and training programs. Create operational manuals, templates, and reference materials as needed. Assist with the professional development and informal mentorship of junior litigation support staff, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation regarding all projects and work assignments. Memorialize project and work assignment developments and progress, and ensure that this information is stored for collective departmental use and access
  • Ensure all eDiscovery and litigation support activities comply with relevant data protection laws and firm policies and the proper data security protocols are followed.
  • Offer periodic after-hours support to users and coordinate project coverage during non-standard office hours.
  • Communicate courteously and professionally by phone, email and in person; using excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly workplace.
  • Keep supervisor abreast of current issues and potential problems as they develop; seeks advice as needed.
  • Follow adequate safety procedures while carrying out all duties.

The salary pay scale for all staff in this position in Los Angeles, CA is $117,074.00 to $175,611.00 annually. Actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, area of expertise, and geographic/office location.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in computer science or related discipline; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have at least five years' experience managing litigation support and practice management technology and eDiscovery projects, preferably in a law firm.Requires expert-level proficiency with eDiscovery review platforms, especially Relativity (RCA highly preferred), and strong understanding of backend functionality. Proficiency with other legal litigation support and practice management applications required. Knowledge of legal artificial intelligence technologies, social media collection and docketing solutions highly preferable.
