Position Overview: The Team Leader contributes to the success of the company through assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant. The Team Leader's responsibility is to assist in directing the operation of the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager and/or Assistant Manager while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. The Team Leader is also responsible for handling issues with team members, food suppliers, and guests directly then escalates them to the General Manager/Assistant Manager when necessary.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • The ability to provide supervision during assigned shifts.
  • Provides team members, and guests with a positive experience and atmosphere.
  • Manages both FOH and BOH shift responsibilities to help manage daily labor controls and costs as assigned by management.
  • Monitors speed of service to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Assists with guest comments and complaints.
  • Supervises daily shifts to ensure company standards, product quality, and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Assists in the ongoing training of team members, including new hires as well as existing staff to make certain company procedures and processes are followed.
  • Helps encourage adherence to uniform policy and standards.
  • Ensures proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Opens and closes the restaurant in the absence of upper management.

All other duties as assigned by management.

POSITION SUMMARY: #LI-RC1

The Senior Project Design Lead will be responsible for mentoring and supporting project design leads through the design process from (Preliminary/30%) through IFC drawings for one or more utility-scale solar PV facilities. This person is responsible for ensuring project design leads have the support and tools needed to achieve a reliable, quality, and safe design. This person oversees maintaining professional relationships with the Engineers of Record and supports the subcontracting efforts for those engineers. This person supports identifying areas of improvement to the project design lead process and leading development of those improvements.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing support and guidance to other project design leads/Associate design leads as directed by manager.
• Training associate design leads under managers plan to prepare them for the project design lead role.
• Attend design reviews and provide comments/feedback on engineering deliverables.
• Support EOR contract creation and review by facilitating review between the engineer of record and our internal team.
• Support EPC contract and scope review by reviewing and suggestion changes to prime contracts and exhibits.
• Support project assignments to the project design leads by helping forecast internal needs based on project pipeline.
• Develop standards and processes to better streamline project design lead tasks and procedures.
• Lead or track new process initiatives with project design leads and other internal team members.
• Sometimes act as the main design lead for project(s).
• Ensure project designs are developed with due consideration for installation means and methods and long-term operations and maintenance of the project by others. Consult Field Operations trade specialists as necessary for requirements and recommendations.
• Develops and maintains a good working relationship with clients, Engineers of Record, subcontractors, vendors, and co-workers to strengthen company position. Assists the management team in displaying and promoting the company values, tenets of success and culture, while representing the company in a professional manner.
• Seek opportunities to add value to the project through the engineering design. Facilitate economic analysis/value engineering to determine cost-effective solutions and prepare written recommendations. Ensure value engineering is incorporated into future designs.
• Up to 25% travel required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in design, design process management, or design execution.
• Experience in utility-scale solar PV projects and/or renewable energy projects

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of the engineering design process.
• Field experience in the Utility scale renewable energy projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams of engineers.
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks across multiple projects and disciplines.
• Ability to give presentations to groups of up to 10 people.
• Involved with and understands 2 or more disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning).
• Experience in electrical renewable field
• Experience in EPC process
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail) and Visio.
• Effective communication (oral, written, presentation), motivation, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Senior Project Development Lead is responsible for leading the identification, development, and early management of US mining projects and programs for Environmental Assessment, Permitting & Compliance, Water Management, or Reclamation & Closure business practices. The Senior Project Development Lead is a technical expert in one of these fields and excels at collaborating with prospective clients as their trusted partner/advisor to achieve their short- and long-term project goals. This role is a hybrid of traditional Business Development and Senior Seller/Doer roles.

Key Responsibilities
