Summary Of Role

The primary responsibility of the Project Management Professional is to plan and oversee projects within the Enterprise of varied size and complexity to ensure targeted business results are achieved. The Project Management Professional is expected to have applied experience in Project Management and IT processes and procedures, software applications, data management, infrastructure, and information security. This position requires a high degree of coordination between business leaders, end users, and various teams within the organization, vendors, and partners.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify dependencies within project portfolio and incorporate into project plans and budgets for efficient and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop an understanding of interconnections between business objectives and assigned projects and programs.
  • Ensure planning of projects include all applicable stakeholders across technical and business functional teams.
  • Ensure planning of projects includes holistic solutions consisting of technology, business process, and organization alignment.
  • Use results of prioritization process to construct executable plans consisting of appropriate timelines and resource allocations.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate across internal and external teams to define components required for solutions delivery.

Knowledge & Skills

Experience

Minimum of five (5+) years of experience project/portfolio management; minimum of five (5+) years of experience with IT processes; preferred (3+) years of experience in banking or finance industry. Familiar with SOX, SOC2, and privacy governance and compliance processes.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.

Project Management certification (PMP); preferred not required.

Knowledge of IT frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, etc.

Knowledge of agile principles and experience adapting processes to the agile principles.

What will you be doing?

As a Demand Manager Project Execution, you will be the key point of contact for procurement activities during the project execution phase, focusing on timely delivery, supplier performance, and risk management. You will execute procurement activities in line with the Supply Plan,initiate and/or manage RFx events for non-itemized items, and trigger escalation in case of delays or issues. Your role is crucial in aligning procurement activities with project timelines and ensuring project success.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key point-of-contact for procurement-related activities during the Project Execution phase, supporting and collaborating with the project engineering and project execution teams to minimize total project risk and cost

  • During the Project Execution phase, execute procurement activities in line with the Supply Plan and relevant category strategies, ensuring the project receives all required products and services on time and in full

  • In case of specifications changes, advise project stakeholders on default products/services and supplier options and provide alternative recommendations or trigger the selection of a new supplier when default suppliers are unsuitable due to specific project requirements

  • In the Project Execution phase, initiate and/or lead RFx events (depending on the applicable category policy, profile and characteristics) for non-itemized products and services, including document creation, evaluation of supplier proposals against predefined criteria, should-cost modelling coordination, and participate in negotiations with suppliers and final supplier selection

  • Update procurement-related information in the project Supply Plan as the project execution process progresses

What do we ask from you?

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience (5-7 years) in procurement, supply chain management, or project execution support within technical or engineering-focused organizations

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, RFx management, and supplier performance management

  • Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements, supplier delivery performance, and potential risks

  • Experience in managing supplier escalations and implementing mitigation strategies for procurement-related disruptions

  • Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations, drive cost savings, while balancing risk and operational needs
