Job Purpose
The Rapid Prototyping Program Manager ensures fast and efficient production of high-quality prototypes. This role involves overseeing scheduling, workflow optimization, and cross-functional coordination with engineering and production teams to accelerate product development cycles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, process improvement, and team leadership, with a focus on minimizing turnaround times while maintaining precision and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities include managing resources, optimizing CNC quoting, programming and tooling strategies, implementing quick quality checks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position is critical in bridging the gap between design and full-scale production, ensuring seamless transitions from prototype to manufacturing.
Principal Accountabilities
- Health, Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety regulations, nothing comes before safety.
- Project & Workflow Management:
1.1 Oversee the scheduling and prioritization of prototype production to meet tight deadlines.
1.2 Ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing by coordinating with engineering, production, and quality teams.
1.3 Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the rapid prototyping process.
- Technical Oversight:
1.1 Working with production supervisor ensure the machining cell is operating at peak efficiency, minimizing downtime and setup times.

Basic Qualifications
