The **Senior Manager, Project Execution** role will oversee the estimating, planning, and execution of projects assigned, taking ultimate responsibility for the key deliverables on each project. Plan and assign work responsibilities to direct reports, manage people, monitor, and report on deliverables. Work cross-functionally amongst the DCE group and the company as a whole to achieve individual and group goals. Be a creative problem solver who collaborates to meet objectives. **Role Responsibilities:**
+ Plan, monitor, and control all assigned projects' scope, budget, and schedule
+ Supervise direct reports as a manager in both project and business contexts
+ Travel as needed to meet departmental goals

+ Responsibility for overall deliverables as designated by the supervisor

+ Review and interpret reports from Project and Construction managers and provide analysis and recommendation on appropriate path

+ Oversee Residential Business Workmanship warranty and production claims
+ Negotiate with subcontractors or EPCs as appropriate
**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ A minimum of twelve (12) years of direct experience in Solar and Battery Storage project delivery, being involved with the project planning, construction, commissioning, and operation
+ Minimum of Three (3) years of experience managing teams of Project and Construction Managers
+ Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships
+ Detail-oriented engineer with an eye for the big picture
+ Demonstrated expertise in the renewable space, desire to learn about the Company

The **Senior Associate, Project Engineer** will primarily be responsible for engineering and design of photovoltaic solar systems, including solar paired with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar only, or BESS only. The Senior Associate Engineer will participate in activities leading to the successful execution and delivery of solar and BESS projects. The Senior Associate Engineer will work within the Project Engineering & Execution team, adhering to company design standards and quality for completing designs of Photovoltaic and battery storage systems. They will seek to improve upon company standards when possible and consistently deliver engineering assignments on time and on budget. The Senior Associate Engineer's secondary responsibility is to review solar and battery energy storage system engineering and design, modeling, and performance data submitted to the Project Engineering & Execution team for evaluation and consideration by outside design companies or other team members. In reviewing such information, the Senior Associate Engineer will seek to protect the Company against errors, omissions and oversight, document all sources of due diligence, and keep records of same. Once a project is contracted, the Senior Associate Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transfer of projects to the Project Manager (PM) for construction management and providing support to the PM as required throughout the construction process. The Senior Associate Engineer should be capable of producing AutoCAD drawings suitable for interconnection, permitting, and construction.

The **Senior Associate, Project Engineering and Execution** role will primarily be responsible for developing preliminary designs, evaluating new markets, and energy storage applications and use cases. The candidate will need a working knowledge of energy markets to ensure the optimal use case for projects in both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter applications. The candidate will be responsible for engineering activities, including project development support, project design, utility tariff review, energy use case model, development of single-line diagrams, site plans, and customer utility bill evaluation. This position plays a key role in the department through development activities across a number of projects, participation in industry working groups, customer discussions, and supporting local approvals for projects. Upon completion of development, the candidate will be responsible for developing engineering design packages for permitting. The candidate will be responsible for completing the work either directly or through internal or external resources.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Develop preliminary PV and BESS system use energy cases through customer bill evaluation, utility tariff and energy market evaluation (retail or wholesale)
+ Support the interconnection application submitted and managed by internal team through technical knowledge
+ Energy Storage equipment evaluation and selection

+ Ensure all design deliverables meet the internal engineering standards and pertinent codes

Build optimal design teams from matrixed internal collaborators and the strategic procurement of external partners.
Change management for project scope and design contracts.
Coordinate design activities with procurement and construction.
Ensure the issuance of engineering information in clear communication with all internal team members and external partners.
Support in design risk evaluation, risk management and budget control throughout the product life cycle.
Monitor and track proposal and contract schedules and generate weekly progress reports.
Support contract negotiation, typically in concert with the Owner Program Manager and legal counsel, including establishment of all General Contractor "business terms" including mark-ups, fees, insurance, labor rates, partner concern.
Provide / gather cost estimates working with subs and other vendors for scope gaps and changes. Ensure QA/QC process is being followed and report any issues/gaps.
**What you'll need**
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Professional licensure (PE) is preferred LEED AP preferred.
+ 5+ years of experience with substation delivery and/or mission critical facilities.
+ Experience and general knowledge of cross subject area teams: structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural.
+ Knowledge of _Google Workspace, Autodesk, and Revit_ experience is helpful.
+ Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality with ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $180,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $205,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
