**About The Role:**
As a CBRE Property Tax Consultant, you'll be responsible for meeting the property tax needs of small to medium-sized clients.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Act as the primary client interface for daily operations.
+ Work with tax officials related to appeals. Present recommendations to clients.
+ Review properties assigned and identify whether to appeal property assessment values.
+ Prepare appeals for property valuation. Provide support needed for billing.
+ Assist management with efficient review and appeal processes for property values.
+ Present data to Sr. Management for developing revenue.
+ Maintain state property tax agent licensing.
+ Apply knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Provide Strategic Consulting and Client advocacy for a variety of occupancies.

  • Compile Nat Cat data by populating primary and secondary modeling characteristics.
  • Review of available data to determine natural catastrophe exposure at client locations. Use of available online tools to analyze flood exposures in accordance with NIFP and FEMA guidelines.
  • Coordination of vendor RFPs
  • Knowledge of B&M Jurisdictional inspection requirements
  • Development and review of Maximum Foreseeable (MFL), Probable Maximum (PML) and Normal Loss (NLE) estimates.
  • Hazards associated with a variety of occupancies including manufacturing, warehousing, soft occupancies, etc.
  • Problem solving using the application of Client Standards, NFPA, FM Global or other best practices to resolve technical fire protection issues.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience and professional designations.
  • 3 to 10 years with an insurance carrier, vendor or related property risk engineering experience.
  • Technically proficient in understanding, interpreting, and applying NFPA and/or FM Global standards; and, evaluating fire protection systems (automatic sprinklers, water supplies, special extinguishing systems, etc.)
  • Ideal candidate is motivated and a self-starter.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and transition to and from ladders or stairs to access building roof areas and upper or lower floors within a customer site during surveys and being able to transverse site and client sites for a workday.
  • Ability to work from home.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aons annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Job Description
As a Property Management Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and support to our tenants during their tenancy. Your job is to ensure Happy Tenants. You will also play a crucial role in assisting the Property Management Executive (PME) in various administrative and operational tasks related to the management of your portfolio of properties.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and all other non-maintenance requests.
  • Provide timely and courteous responses to tenant questions related to their lease, property amenities, and general information.
  • Communicate with tenants on lease and HOA violations, early lease terminations, adding/removing pets, lease renewals, and all other tenant requests not related to maintenance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate roommate change requests, including verifying the eligibility of new roommates and updating lease agreements accordingly.
  • Prepare and coordinate service of notices and documents (i.e., notice to pay, notice to perform).
  • Provide support on phone and email to prospective and current tenants.
  • Ensure tenants have paid their rent in a timely manner, contact tenants who have not paid rent, and assist PME through the eviction process.
  • Monitor lease renewals to ensure they are being sent to tenants and executed in a timely manner.
  • Assist Property Management Executives in lease renewal negotiations.
  • Address tenant complaints in a timely manner and follow up on open items regularly.
  • Assist PME in administrative tasks including, but not limited to: onboarding new clients, offboarding clients, data entry steps, etc.
  • Handle incoming client calls on the general call queue, provide information when possible, and direct requests to the appropriate team members as needed.
  • Assist with application overflow as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in real estate, property management, or a strong administrative and customer service background.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite applications (Gmail, Drive, Word, Sheets) and property management software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Internet speed must be a minimum of 50 Mbps.
  • This position is fully remote and you can reside in any geographic location but you must be able to work 8-5PST hours
  • Hourly Rate: $8 - $9 per hour
