Job Duties:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various irrigation system components, including wiring, controllers, valves, heads, rotors, main and lateral lines, drip lines, and bubblers.
Operate specialized equipment and vehicles to complete tasks such as pressure testing, trenching, and pipe installation.
Order irrigation supplies, spare parts, and equipment as needed, and obtain quotes from external contractors when required.
Recommend and assist in prioritizing upgrades and replacements of systems and equipment.
Respond promptly to work order requests and provide assistance through various communication channels.
Leverage technology (phones, tablets, laptops) to complete work orders, maintain records, logs, and documentation.
Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures, and reporting any violations to management.
Perform seasonal maintenance tasks, such as winterizing irrigation systems and starting them up in the spring.
Minimum Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in the landscaping/irrigation industry, including plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
18 years of age or older.
Valid, state-issued driver's license.
Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight and weekends.
Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
Education
While a formal degree is not required, relevant training or certifications in irrigation systems, landscaping, or related fields are highly desirable.
Certifications
Irrigation system certifications or licenses are a plus.
Certifications in equipment operation or safety are advantageous.

The Maintenance Technician skilled requirements within the apartment community:
+ HVAC: repairs, cleans, replaces, etc.
+ Plumbing: repairs, replace parts, installation (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.)
+ Carpentry: repairs and installs doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
+ Painting: drywall/plaster repairs, painting
+ Electrical/Appliance: lighting, wiring, power circuits, replacing switches, lamps, etc.
+ Machinery: repair and maintain chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
+ Other duties as assigned
+ Most importantly is the ability to provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
The Maintenance Technician required and preferred qualifications within the apartment community:
+ 1-2 years of required experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property.
+ This position requires a High School Diploma/GED. 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position.
+ Preferred certifications for this position include HVAC (depending on property), Electrical, or Plumbing.
+ This position may require a valid driver's license depending on the needs of the property.
+ Required skills: self-motivated, team-player, communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, customer service, and personal accountability.
+ May be required to work weekends - Saturday and Sunday.

With supervision, the Fleet Technician I is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment, including containers, ground level offices, office trailers, and/or modular buildings. The Fleet Technician I must also be capable of effectively performing all duties of an Equipment Associate.
**What you'll do:**
+ Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Mobile Storage quality standards:
+ Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to, remove and repair flooring, tiles, roofs, walls, frames, doors, leaks, caulking, windows, screens, painting, filters/dampers, replacing skins and trim, tagging of equipment, removal/install of UR decals and equipment numbers
+ Hooking mobile office to power source
+ Checking tire pressure and lugs
+ Complete assignments on time and within budget
+ Complete assignments as documented on Work Orders
+ Complete necessary documentation (work order, etc.)
+ Travel to customer sites to set office trailers and assist CDL A Drivers when needed
+ Equipment Modifications:
+ Complete in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and state and local building codes
+ Complete in accordance with approved specifications

+ Organization and Cleanliness of Shop, Yard, Tools and Supplies :
+ Follow Mobile Storage and United Rentals 5S guidelines
+ Meet cleanliness standards on each & every assignment
+ Store tools, supplies, and Value Added Products (VAPs) in proper and secure place
+ Keep yard organized and free of debris
+ Advise supervisor of supply needs
+ Inbound and outbound equipment inspections and processing; follow Rental Flow procedures
+ Fork Lift Operations
+ Show and exhibit fleet to customers when needed
+ Safely install and/or uninstall VAPs according to reservation requirements
**Requirements:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Active applicable state class driver's license
+ Related maintenance experience a plus
+ Basic verbal and written skills
+ Construction knowledge and background
+ Teamwork and customer service skills
+ Demonstrated time management skills
+ Ability to utilize required information technology
+ Working knowledge of heavy equipment, tools, and manufacturers' warranty process
