**Description**
The Emory University School of Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Program in Health Service Psychology is based in the Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Pediatrics, and the Division of Neurosciences & Rehabilitation Medicine (Division of Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health). The residency program is typically a one-year, full-time experience, with exceptions made for personal reasons (e.g., birth of a child, family leave).
The combined position between Early Intervention and Clinical Assessment and Diagnostics integrates time in two clinics at Marcus Autism Center, a subsidiary of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The Marcus Autism Center Early Intervention Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic that uses the Project ImPACT parent coaching curriculum, an evidence-based naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention (NDBI)?The Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Department at Marcus Autism Center is a multidisciplinary clinic and research enterprise that provides diagnostic assessments of individuals with a wide range of neurodevelopmental disorders.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Helps design and conduct research within a specified field while receiving advanced training from a designated Principal Investigator to enhance professional skills and research independence needed for pursuit of a career. The specific area of research in which the trainee is mentored is determined by the department and laboratory of the Postdoc. Designs and evaluates experiments. Develops new ideas that promote current research. Prepares and publishes scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator. May be responsible for operation of specific equipment. May teach techniques to others, train, and supervise research staff. Positions are temporary appointments as a research trainee. The initial appointment is for one year, renewal expected if progress is satisfactory and funds are available. Appointments cannot exceed five years.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D., M.D., ScD., D.V.M., DDS etc) in an appropriate field. Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills. The ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues. Additional qualifications as specified by the Principal Investigator.

- The preferred candidate will have a bachelor's level degree, with excellent organizational and time-management skills, and at least five years of program or office management experience.
- In addition, the successful candidate will be a "people person," with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who is able to communicate and work with a variety of constituents, including faculty, clinic clients, and graduate students. Finally, the successful candidate will be comfortable with a variety of software platforms, program measurement metrics, an independent worker, enjoy handling a variety of tasks, and proactively seek to improve the operations of the Center. Duties include:
- Clinical Coordination conduct client intake interviews and work with clinic director to make case assignments to student clinicians. Greet clients and families, answer incoming calls, take and forward messages, maintain client schedule, process and reconcile online client payments, administer online check-in survey, manage, clean, and stock waiting room with refreshments and magazines, maintain office supplies and equipment as needed, manage student employees. Create new client files and process all new client paperwork. There is a large volume of email correspondence which must be maintained in a timely manner.
- Training Program Administration work with Clinic Director to manage and track student clinician training and progress, monitor supplies of and order clinic testing materials, liaise with Graduate Program coordinator to be sure paperwork for each student clinician is current and filed, help coordinate continuing education workshops, update and maintain Center Manual of policies and procedures.
- Program Evaluation and Finance maintain all necessary forms and files for the Center, make sure all constituents are HIPPA trained and compliant, liaise with College and University entities as needed, maintain and reconcile the Center's accounts on a monthly basis, collect and prepare reimbursement paperwork for Director and students, track, reconcile, and process client fees collected for the clinic.
NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.

Requirements:
