Job Description
Supports the implementation, of the Eversource Quality Control program as it relates to any of the following construction, maintenance, meter service, leak survey, corrosion, damage prevention, LNG and I&R activities at Eversource Gas. Ensures that work and activities are performed in accordance with all federal, state, and company construction standards and procedures and all safety rules and standards established by the Company and required by law. The QC Specialist has the authority to direct and stop, if necessary, work to ensure compliance with all requirements. This position is an authorized company representative when on job sites and has the authority to make decisions, within their area of responsibility, on behalf of the Company.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Ensures safe work practices are being employed in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety Handbook and Contractor Safety Manual.
+ Ensures all work activities are being performed in accordance with Gas Distribution construction standards and operating procedures. Verifies that the work is being performed by qualified personnel.
+ Verifies that work packages are in order with appropriate work procedures as required, mark out ticket, and mapping information.
+ Monitors resources associated with the Company's re-dig program.
+ Supports the on-boarding of contractor crews and verifies that all aspects of the Company's Operator Qualification Plan are being followed.
+ Identifies non-compliant conditions and situations, makes recommendations for corrective action.
+ Responsible for accurate documentation of inspection results.
+ Responsible for the Company's gas quality control programs.
+ Performs activities that will contribute to the annual gas inspection plan including random inspections and re-dig program activities.
+ Will be assigned an ERP role and will support Gas or Electric during any ERP or Work Continuation event as required.
**Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:**

+ Will be expected to become Eversource Operator Qualified

POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the establishment, planning, and execution of all aspects of the Quality Management System. Provides direction and management of the quality group. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -
- Functions as Management Representative. Leads internal and external audits.
- Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality management system and strategic planning for additional business opportunities.
- Managing team members
- Collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure quality standards are compliant and satisfactory for objectives.
- Development of quality key metrics, reports, and analysis of the quality management system.
- Work with manufacturing, customers and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are communicated and maintained.
- Represents the QA function and acts as a liaison to customers.
- Provides leadership and guidance to the Quality group.

Scope:
Under the direction of the Manager, Supplier Quality, this position is responsible to support all functions of Global Supplier Quality Program are consistently in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards. Ensures that quality standards are met by all suppliers to CooperSurgical.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Manage Supplier Quality sustaining activities.
- Other possible activities are those listed below.
- Facilitates the supplier compliance program (Site audit, drive improvement in supplier performance, supplier development, supplier selection and qualification).
- Acts as a quality assurance consultant in the development and implementation of quality systems in compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, MDD and CMDCAS and other relevant requirements at partner suppliers/vendors in order to support operations and development engineering.
- Works with Value Streams once Engineering and Quality Engineering; confirm there is a Supplier related improvement opportunity or Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs).
3. Supports development and implementation of supplier quality program by doing the following:
a. Support supplier on-going monitoring and re-evaluation process.
b. Manage Supplier SCAR / CAPA / NCR and periodically provide metrics/report to Management Review Process.
c. Create/ Maintain supplier quality agreements.
d. Support all Procurement supplier Projects.
e. Support all new Product Development that is intended for production at suppliers.
f. Support all business continuity projects at suppliers.
g. Update SOPs and Forms related to supplier management process as needed
- Supports internal and external QMS audits. And works as a key player in the audit's backup rooms or inspection rooms.
- Files and maintains Supplier related documentation as per QMS.
- Perform supplier audits, conduct supplier site visits as needed to identify systemic gaps in performance expectations at suppliers and implement mitigating processes at Cooper sites, as needed.
- Collaborates with Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Value Streams as well as Purchasing teams.
- When required, submits Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) for Supplier related NCMRs. And reviews Supplier responses for appropriate root cause analysis and Corrective Actions to prevent re-occurrence of failure modes.
Support supplier validation activities as required from Supplier Quality prospective.
- Support transfer projects and Supplier localization projects.
- Support IQ, OQ, PQ and PPAP processes

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, EUMDR, ISO 14971
