Position Summary.
Quality is a key pillar in driving member satisfaction. Our team is growing to focus on quality at every stage of the life cycle; from customer feedback and insights, to partnering with Product Development and Merchants, onboarding and vetting suppliers, all the way to validating that our products exceed customer expectations.
The Group Director of Quality Assurance will lead a team through expansion by; understanding customer data tools, mapping future ways of working, assessing resources, utilizing quality assurance processes, set framework for quality action plans with suppliers, building partnership across key stakeholders, and contributing to the strategy development to improve Quality and elevate member trust.
What you'll do.

Develops the framework and contributes to the strategy for the future of Quality Assurance for General Merchandise.

Participates in defining organizational strategic goals and purposes; defines how to gather and keep customers. Analyzes business processes, identifies alternative solutions to outdated processes and assesses their feasibility. Establishes requirements for large changes in the overall mission, roles, responsibilities and processes necessary to make business improvements. Evaluates financial, cultural, technological and other factors that need to be addressed. Recommends new approaches that seek the use of advanced technology.

Develops and optimizes the floor plan and space utilization for The Forge's Virtual Testing capability. Oversees the selection and procurement of equipment, technology, and software necessary for testing and lab operations. Manages the installation of equipment and ensures proper training for team members on the use of new technologies and software.

Leads partnership with lab operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in testing processes. Develops and manages protocols for item selection to ensure comprehensive and representative testing. Plans and manages lab capacity to meet current and future testing demands, ensuring resources are utilized optimally. Continuously improves and reinvents benchmarks to align with industry standards and technological advancements.

Manages the deployment of capital expenditures (Capex) and operational expenditures (Opex) budgets. Ensures budgets deliver on Internal Rate of Return (IRR) projections, with performance measured annually.

Builds and maintains strategic relationships with the engineering academic community for talent acquisition and research collaboration.

Navigates legal and intellectual property (IP) contractual frameworks, focusing on maintaining intents for IP and/or indemnification.

Leverage data analysis tools to explore highly complex data, develops and tests hypotheses, uses data to influence strategic work, builds and presents insights. Identify, implement, and drive technology change within scope of work. Use visualization tools to represent data and construct coherent stories to influence decisions.

+ Leads partnership with lab operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in testing processes. Develops and manages protocols for item selection to ensure comprehensive and representative testing. Plans and manages lab capacity to meet current and future testing demands, ensuring resources are utilized optimally. Continuously improves and reinvents benchmarks to align with industry standards and technological advancements.
+ Manages the deployment of capital expenditures (Capex) and operational expenditures (Opex) budgets. Ensures budgets deliver on Internal Rate of Return (IRR) projections, with performance measured annually.
+ Builds and maintains strategic relationships with the engineering academic community for talent acquisition and research collaboration.
+ Navigates legal and intellectual property (IP) contractual frameworks, focusing on maintaining intents for IP and/or indemnification.
+ Leverage data analysis tools to explore highly complex data, develops and tests hypotheses, uses data to influence strategic work, builds and presents insights. Identify, implement, and drive technology change within scope of work. Use visualization tools to represent data and construct coherent stories to influence decisions.
+ Develops expertise in quality assurance tools, techniques, and standards. Interprets results of quantitative and statistical tools and explains results to others. The Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics â" Quality Assurance role is critical to ensure that Walmart satisfies its Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory requirements. Help support a first-class AML Financial Intelligence Unit and mitigate financial risk by providing quality assurance oversight of cases and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
About the position.
The Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - Quality Assurance role will conduct quality assurance and/or quality control reviews of BSA/AML investigation documentation (e.g., due diligence, narratives, SARs) while using industry expertise to conduct comprehensive assessments, writing reports of audit findings with recommendations, interpreting patterns and trends, and providing impactful feedback.

+ Identify systemic trends within QA reviews and providing valuable feedback and recommendations for improvement
+ Provide consulting and regulatory guidance on BSA/AML to internal and external stakeholders

The Implementation/ Customer Success Specialist will oversee and support the implementation of Foods Connected tools with our customers across the full suite of our solutions, including Supplier Management, Food Safety and Quality, and Procurement. This would also include future areas of the business or any other new tools or functions we develop. While working with a customer, the Customer Success Specialist will become an extended arm of our customer's team to help ensure we keep their business ahead of the market.
In this role, you will work with front-line users to understand their needs and ensure tools are configured accordingly. You will conduct business process analysis, gathering and documenting system requirements and business decisions. You will also assist with implementation tasks such as facilitating workshops, configuring and cleansing data, and supporting customers using the system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support current accounts within Foods Connected and develop the Foods Connected presence within that client.
- Complete data manipulation and cleansing for key accounts onboarding.

- Provide insight into what we can offer to help their business and develop project proposals and plans on driving change.
- Delivering presentations and training of the 'live system' to client user groups.

To perform this job successfully, the Customer Success Specialist - Food Technology Quality & Technical should have experience with:
- 1+ years' previous experience within the food industry in retail, manufacturing, or the food service space preferred.
- Prior experience with SaaS platforms, especially those related to the supply chain management of the food industry for tracking quality, suppliers, or procurement.
- Project management-oriented certification or training preferred.
- Proficient Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to communicate clearly what something does and the benefit it brings.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities in order to work through problems alongside clients and come up with workable solutions.
