Maximus is looking for a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Admin III to support our DMCS program under our Department of Education portfolio.
This will be a Limited Service position. You will be hired on a contingency basis with limited time of service.
The Quality Control / Quality Assurance Admin III will provide quality control reviews for functions supporting the Debt Management Collection Services (DMCS) program.

- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues.
- Follow procedures and directions to assess the quality of service provided through monitoring incoming calls and other work types which focusing on the quality of customer service, accuracy of information provided, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Conduct call monitoring sessions to ensure workers are performing in accordance with established quality and performance standards.
- Provide feedback on call monitoring results.
- Evaluate recorded and/or transcribed interactions of a complex nature between the caller/chatter/correspondent and the worker, and provide appropriate context of ratings.
Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate correspondence and phone activities and complete scorecards to assess each item according to guidance provided and provide a constructive assessment.
- Maintain and update databases, score cards, reports, and documents with high degree of accuracy.
- Identify accounts requiring escalation, escalating immediately if warranted.
- Utilize the feedback tool to give and receive constructive feedback on call quality and department tasks.
- Preform administrative functions that support the process of reports and appeals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal regulations, policies, and procedures as they apply to student financial aid.
- Maintain current understanding of the processing procedures.
- Utilize available systems, knowledge-base and standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to respond to inquiries and perform job duties.
- Identify trends in the information provided by agents to identify areas of improvement and areas that might require additional training.
- Organize, lead, or participate in calibration meetings including the selection of topics to be evaluated and discussed,
- Assist with new hire presentations, assignments, and certifications.
- Demonstrate and maintain appropriate judgment with confidential information.
- May perform other functions as requested by management within scope of level or occasional support of lower-level functions as business/volume need require
Additional Requirements as per contract/client:
- Department of Education and Student Loan experience preferred
- Quality Assurance experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must reside in the U.S.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

- Obtaining and Maintaining a PIV-I card is a requirement of this position. PIV-I cards must be picked up in person. DMCS Contact Center Quality team is an essential part of the DMCS program. Its objective is to utilize operational techniques and activities to satisfy quality requirements. Quality includes activities aimed at the detection and correction of errors, faults, discrepancies and/or defects in products or services prior to delivery. QC activities generate testing or review results of work efforts and provide feedback that supports Quality Assurance (QA) and drives continuous improvement.

- Track daily completions and outstanding work balances and provide the data to Quality Phone Supervisor
- Respond to data requests by providing supporting documentation and responding to disputes within specified timeframe
- Assist in creating and providing reporting and trending data to Business Operation and Training management to provide effective tools that allow departments to understand variances and make effective decisions around resource allocation and training needs

+ Application development using VB, MS Access, Python, C++ or other programming language.
+ General knowledge of dimensional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, functional gaging, etc.
+ Trained/Certified in PCDMIS and/or PolyWorks software programming is desired.
+ Oral and written communication skills.
+ Detail oriented with the ability to learn on the fly.
+ Comprehensive understanding of Windows 10 and MS Office.

Quality Control Inspector Overview:
Join our dedicated team as a Quality Control Inspector in Bridgewater, NJ, where your expertise will contribute to maintaining the high standards of quality we uphold within our production facility. Quality Control Inspector Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct visual and physical inspections of received and produced products to ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations.
+ Perform detailed inspections of welds and other critical components using precision tools such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and weld inspection equipment.
+ Manage documentation related to inspections, quality control processes, and equipment calibration.
+ Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed.
+ Assist in creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) for operational processes.
+ Ensure the identification and traceability of all finished goods in the yard.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to guarantee adherence to customer quality specifications.
+ Complete special projects as directed by the Corporate Quality and Service Engineer and carry out any additional duties as assigned.
Quality Control Inspector Required Qualifications:
+ Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building positive relationships with customers and vendors.
+ Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers.
+ Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and basic data entry tasks.
+ Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
+ Background in steel manufacturing is preferred.
+ Certification or experience in Welding/Visual Testing inspection is preferred.
+ Familiarity with AWS D1.1 / D1.4 welding codes and the ability to interpret ASTM/ASME codes as applicable.
Quality Control Inspector Education/Experience:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent. An Associate's Degree is preferred.
+ Prior experience as a Quality Inspector is an advantage.
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Methodology is desirable.

The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor leads a team of QC Analysts in the timely and compliant testing of raw materials, in-process samples, intermediates, final products, and stability samples. This role ensures that the QC Laboratory effectively supports manufacturing operations and commercial product release requirements, while maintaining compliance with ISO 13485:2016 and applicable sections of 21 CFR Part 820 (GMP). The QC Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the QC Laboratory in a constant state of audit readiness by ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory, quality, and safety standards. Additionally, the QC Supervisor serves as a key QC representative for R&D initiatives and New Product Introductions (NPIs).
Essential Functions:
- Provide direct leadership, guidance, and mentorship to QC team members, including hands-on training and performance support.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the QC team.
- Prioritize testing activities to align with production schedules and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage laboratory inventory to prevent testing delays; collaborate with Procurement for sourcing and ERP system updates. Escalate any potential inventory risks that may impact turnaround time (TAT).
- Lead QC equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance activities in collaboration with the Facilities Department. Act as primary approver for QC equipment and provide backup support for Analytical R&D (AR&D) equipment.
- Escalate to management when capital expenditures (CAPEX) are required to implement safety, efficiency, or compliance-related solutions within the QC laboratory.
- Review and approve QC analytical data in both electronic systems and hardcopy formats, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR Part 820, and 21 CFR Part 11 data integrity requirements.
- Monitor and trend Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, investigating root causes to support continuous improvement across QC, Production, and QA functions. Serves as primary QC Approver for OOS investigation reports.
- Ensure adherence to stability study protocols, manufacturing validation protocols, and test method validation execution in support of New Product Introductions (NPIs), coordinating with R&D and QA to meet project timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the document owner for QC department procedures. Independently review, revise, and approve protocols, SOPs, and test methods per document control policies.
- Support retain samples program within QC functions, ensuring proper documentation, storage conditions, and routine sampling in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures adherence to stability and test method validation testing execution to support NPI.
- Maintains and improves compliance with 5S standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization within all QC areas. Lead adherence to internal 5S audit schedules.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives including Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM) to drive operational excellence in the QC Laboratory.
- Represent QC in cross-functional meetings and during internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments.
Qualifications
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
Certification(s): Specify preferred or required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related science field required.
Six Sigma or related certification required.
Auditor (CQA) or related certification preferred.
Computer Skills Required: Specify preferred or required.
Proficiency with Adobe, Microsoft Word and, Excel.
Other qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience working in an ISO 13485:2016 or FDA GMP regulated environment required.
- Minimum two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role required. Proven leadership abilities on training, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR Part 820, and 21 CFR Part 11 required.
- Strong knowledge of analytical equipment, analytical methods, method validation and data analysis required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic analytical laboratory software (e.g., Open Lab or Empower) required.
- Knowledge of compendial methods (ie. USP, EP, ISO, ASTM) required.
- Knowledge on ICH guidelines required.
