Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure the quality and safety of our construction projects. The successful candidate will develop and implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and work closely with project teams to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure work onsite is completed safely, with quality, and productively.
+ Maintain and implement the 3 Phases of Quality Control per USACE QCM Requirements.
+ Ensure strict adherence to the USACE EM385-1-1 Safety Standards.
+ Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Review Submittals and coordinate daily with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager.
+ Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify and address potential deficiencies in construction practices and materials.
+ Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain quality control plans.
+ Oversee the development and execution of corrective action plans to address identified non-conformities.
+ Monitor construction progress and provide guidance to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Coordinate and facilitate training programs to educate project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
+ Manage and maintain detailed documentation related to quality control processes, inspections, and tests.
+ Conduct root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance project quality and efficiency.
+ Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, codes, and regulations related to construction quality management.
+ Manage and conduct weekly QC Meetings with clients during the construction contract.
+ Manage and conduct daily safety meetings with subcontractors as necessary.
+ Review subcontractor Activity Hazard Analysis' prior to starting a definable feature of work.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct quality control and/or management or post-secondary education.
+ Proficient in the use of NAVFAC eCMS Management Software.
+ Working knowledge of Procore Project Management Software is a plus.
+ Complete understanding of all Quality Control Manager requirements including daily reports, Preparatory & Initial meetings, Submittal register, testing log, and holding weekly quality control meetings.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ OSHA 30-hour Certification is required.
+ Current CPR and 1st Aid Training is required.
+ USACE EM385-1-1 40 Hour Certification is required.
+ Current USACE Quality Control Management Certification is required.
+ Knowledge of construction-related technologies, quality activities, and quality auditing.
+ Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, specifications, and applicable technical instructions, plans, and reports.
+ Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and other applicable programs.
+ Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, years of experience will be considered.
+ Proven experience in construction quality management or quality assurance within the construction industry.
+ Strong ability to read and interpret project design documents including project drawings and specifications.
+ Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and standards.
+ Familiarity with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and proactive identification of potential quality issues.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: · Ensure work onsite is completed in a safety, quality, and productive manner. · Maintain and implement the 3 Phases of Quality Control per USACE QCM Requirements · Ensure strict adherence to the USACE EM385-1-1 Safety Standards · Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. · Review of Submittals and Daily Coordination with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager · Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify and address potential deficiencies in construction practices, materials, and workmanship. · Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain quality control plans. · Oversee the development and execution of corrective action plans to address identified non-conformities and ensure timely resolution. · Monitor construction progress and provide guidance to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle. · Coordinate and facilitate training programs to educate project teams on quality control procedures and best practices. · Manage and maintain detailed documentation related to quality control processes, inspections, and test results. · Conduct root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance overall project quality and efficiency. · Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, codes, and regulations related to construction quality management. · Manage and conduct weekly QC Meetings with the client during the construction contract. · Manage and conduct daily safety meetings with subcontractors as necessary. · Review subcontractor Activity Hazard Analysis' prior to starting a definable feature of work. · This position will require daily management located on Naval Station Great Lakes KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct quality control and/or management or post-secondary education · Proficient in the use of NAVFAC eCMS Management Software · Working knowledge of Procore Project Management Software is a Plus · Complete understanding of all Quality Control Manager requirements including: · Daily reports, Preparatory & Initial meetings, Submittal register, testing log, and holding weekly quality control meetings (and all other requirements). · Excellent verbal and written communications skills · OSHA 30-hour Certification is Required. · Current CPR and 1st Aid Training is Required · USACE EM385-1-1 40 Hour Certification is Required · Current USACE Quality Control Management Certification is Required · Knowledge of construction related technologies, quality activities and quality auditing. Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, specifications, and applicable technical instructions, plans and reports. · Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and other applicable programs. · Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures. Quality Control Inspector PURPOSE JOB SUMMARY Performs approved inspection programs for servicing and repair of gas turbine engines, aircraft components, parts, or accessories by the Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers' specifications, approved technical data, and Turbine Engine Specialists Inc. policies/procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Not listed in order of importance. Other duties may be assigned.) Performs all duties of designated inspection and product handling in accordance with TES. policies and procedures and provide reports/records, that comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and the policies of TES. Completes receiving, assembly (in-process) inspection and the final acceptance inspection of each overhauled or repaired engine, APU, accessory, appliance and component at time of completion and prior to preparation for shipment. Assists as necessary with the operation and accuracy of the filing system for records, maintenance, electronic/manual maintenance records, bulletins, and related publications for their programs. Completes employee qualification audits, process verification audits, process and procedure audits, as they relate to the Repair Station. Assures that preliminary, hidden, damage, progressive and final inspections are properly performed, and that proper inspection records, reports and forms are properly executed prior to releasing the product. Instructs production personnel in proper procedures for compliance with product/company standards. Conducts periodic inspection/calibration of all precision tools and test equipment, and ensures calibrations are current and conform to all applicable regulations. May evaluate published technical data for timely and accurate applicability to quality assurance /shop procedures to ensure reliable, quality products. Provides technical inspection support for specific engines/components and takes appropriate actions in preventing release of defective, unserviceable, or un-airworthy parts. Enters quality escapes into EHS Insight for tracking internal/external quality escapes. Direct report to Quality Operations Leader. Maintains constant communication with Quality Operations Leader as it relates to day-to-day operations. Qualifications Prefer to be certificated under 14 CFR part 65 as an A&P mechanic, P mechanic. Prefer a minimum of twenty-four (24) months experience as final/return to service inspector) Familiarity with all component repair methodologies prefe rred. Working knowledge of precision measurement device required. Must be able to read, interpret and understand technical manuals, engineering drawings, work specifications, service bulletins and written work instructions. PURPOSE JOB SUMMARY

+ Completes receiving, assembly (in-process) inspection and the final acceptance inspection of each overhauled or repaired engine, APU, accessory, appliance and component at time of completion and prior to preparation for shipment.
+ Assists as necessary with the operation and accuracy of the filing system for records, maintenance, electronic/manual maintenance records, bulletins, and related publications for their programs.
+ Completes employee qualification audits, process verification audits, process and procedure audits, as they relate to the Repair Station.
+ Assures that preliminary, hidden, damage, progressive and final inspections are properly performed, and that proper inspection records, reports and forms are properly executed prior to releasing the product.
+ Instructs production personnel in proper procedures for compliance with product/company standards.
+ Conducts periodic inspection/calibration of all precision tools and test equipment, and ensures calibrations are current and conform to all applicable regulations.
+ May evaluate published technical data for timely and accurate applicability to quality assurance /shop procedures to ensure reliable, quality products.
+ Provides technical inspection support for specific engines/components and takes appropriate actions in preventing release of defective, unserviceable, or un-airworthy parts.
+ Enters quality escapes into EHS Insight for tracking internal/external quality escapes.
+ Direct report to Quality Operations Leader. Maintains constant communication with Quality Operations Leader as it relates to day-to-day operations.
**Qualifications**
+ Prefer to be certificated under 14 CFR part 65 as an A&P mechanic, P mechanic.
+ Prefer a minimum of twenty-four (24) months experience as final/return to service inspector)
+ Familiarity with all component repair methodologies preferred.
+ Working knowledge of precision measurement device required.
+ Must be able to read, interpret and understand technical manuals, engineering drawings, work specifications, service bulletins and written work instructions.
+ Must be proficient in the use of precision-measuring equipment associated with the specific work area. Job Description
The Construction Quality Manager is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and documenting the quality control program on field projects. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in productivity, client relationships, and customer service as they relate to the quality management system.
Responsibilities
* Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the project.
* Oversee the implementation of project-specific construction Quality Plans at job locations.
* Perform project site audits to ensure adherence to company SOPs/policies, project plans, and specifications.
* Lead quality investigations on project issues as they arise.
* Document construction quality control and maintain reporting requirements, including photo documentation and written reports.
* Gather and maintain Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) submittals for applicable projects.
* Lead communications on customer concerns regarding construction quality and coordinate adjustments with applicable teams.
* Prepare and conduct preparatory and initial meetings.
* Gather and submit required material submittals and maintain submittal registry.
* Check materials and equipment against approved submittals, plans, and specifications.
* Receive daily reports from Site Superintendent and/or SSHO for inclusion into daily report.
* Submit Daily QC report to client and distribute internally to project team.
* Document work progress on site and quality control issues via job notes, photos, and meeting minutes.
* Maintain QC Deficiency log and issue deficiency notifications.
* Maintain red-line or as-builts on project site.
* Generate RFI's in conjunction with Project Manager.
* Generate and disperse Government inspections and sign-offs.
* Maintain daily reports in a binder for client personnel.
* Maintain testing log and schedule third-party testing.
* Generate and maintain punch lists for subcontractors, monitor completions, and collect signed punch list completion sheets.
* Develop, schedule, and conduct training for owners as necessary.
* Gather, prepare, and submit O&M data.
* Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
* Minimum of five years of federal construction and/or quality control experience.
* Familiarity with federal construction processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* OSHA 30-hour certification required.
* Active Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification required.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 is a plus.
* Must have a 4-year degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Familiar with requirements of USACE EM 385-1-1 and experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.
* Five years of combined experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or SSHO.
* Experience on similar size projects and construction contracts including major trades.
* ECMS (NAVFAC software) experience is a plus.
* Five years DOD construction experience within the last seven years.
* Experience as a Federal Superintendent/SSHO is preferred.
* Mechanical project oversight experience is ideal.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
