SUMMARY: The Processing Lead is responsible for manufacturing food products by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring workflow while maintaining product integrity and following guidelines established by the company and other governing bodies.

The Quality Control / Quality Assurance Team Lead will provide quality control reviews for functions supporting the Debt Management Collection Services (DMCS) program.

This will be a Limited Service position. You will be hired on a contingency basis with limited time of service.

DMCS Contact Center Quality team is an essential part of the DMCS program. Its objective is to utilize operational techniques and activities to satisfy quality requirements. Quality includes activities aimed at the detection and correction of errors, faults, discrepancies and/or defects in products or services prior to delivery. QC activities generate testing or review results of work efforts and provide feedback that supports Quality Assurance (QA) and drives continuous improvement.

- Track daily completions and outstanding work balances and provide the data to Quality Phone Supervisor

- Respond to data requests by providing supporting documentation and responding to disputes within specified timeframe

- Assist in creating and providing reporting and trending data to Business Operation and Training management to provide effective tools that allow departments to understand variances and make effective decisions around resource allocation and training needs

- Work with external auditors during periodic reviews and audits, assisting in preparation of annual audit schedules in addition to QA/QC Admin III Responsibilities:

- Monitor and evaluate phone activities and complete scorecards to assess each item according to guidance provided and provide a constructive assessment.

- Maintain and update databases, score cards, reports, and documents with a high degree of accuracy.

- Identify accounts requiring escalation, escalating immediately if warranted.

- Utilize the feedback tool to give and receive constructive feedback on call quality and department tasks.

- Perform administrative functions that support the process of reports and appeals.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal regulations, policies, and procedures as they apply to student financial aid.

- Maintain current understanding of the processing procedures.

- Utilize available systems, knowledge-base and standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to respond to inquiries and perform job duties.

- Identify trends in the information provided by agents to identify areas of improvement and areas that might require additional training.

- Organize, lead, or participate in calibration meetings including the selection of topics to be evaluated and discussed,

- Assist with new hire presentations, assignments, and certifications.

  • Test planning and execution of Test Plan by coordinate with all team members to ensure completion
  • Advocate for and ensure that the team performs the prescribed quality practices.
  • Where exceptions are made, articulate the quality risk and potential impact/mitigation to the team, product manager or owner, and program manager
  • Coordinate with QA Lead to plan and execute feature-level integration testing
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member by taking initiative and being pro-active.
  • Analyze, maintain, and track defects for testing
  • Validate conformance to requirements and that acceptance criteria have been met
  • Where acceptance criteria are not provided, work with Product to derive criteria, if needed
  • Ensure that stories have met Definition of Done
  • Summarize testing and validation results and communicate with project team members regarding status
  • Escalate issues or obstacles appropriately and timely
  • Provide insightful input to retrospectives.
  • Performs other duties as requested
Qualifications
  • Solid work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role for at least 5 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of the QA process, and collaborating with Development team
  • Must have basic knowledge of Katalon Automation, AWS, and SQL
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues; experience with best practices around database operations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to peers, customers, and management
  • Must be capable of routinely making effective and timely decisions in alignment with departmental direction and based on sound business knowledge and industry best practices.
  • Require ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task with several complex and demanding Projects
  • Must have a conducive, private and secured work-at-home set-up based on Med-Metrix standards

Description

Job Summary:

Drive Quality Management System compliance and improvement opportunities to ensure our products meet customer and engineering specifications. Monitor and analyze performance and quality data from various sources to drive root cause/corrective actions and process adherence. Work with other departments and teams to foster and maintain a company-wide quality culture. May be assigned to supervise other team members.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
  • Utilizes statistical and root cause analysis to review current and past failures.
  • Provides suggestions for improvements and assists in implementing changes.
  • Creates, implements and oversees the development of quality standards/metrics.
  • Provides technical expertise to other AAON team members when needed.
  • Audits manufacturing and test procedures, interacts with quality team members and manufacturing personnel to ensure quality processing and testing of all products.
  • Plans, coordinates, analyzes and reports quality issues, key performance indicators and continuous improvement activities.
  • Works with other departments and outside manufacturers to ensure that purchased and manufactured parts meet engineering and customer specifications/standards.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include directing workflow, managing schedules, and providing coaching, feedback and disciplinary actions as required to assigned subordinates.
Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Degree(s): An individual must have attained a minimum of BS in mechanical, electrical, computer, industrial or any other closely related discipline.

License(s) and Certification(s): Experience in Quality (ASQ CQE Certification), ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, Auditing, HVAC, and Continuous Improvement methodologies are preferred.

Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred but not required.

  • Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
