Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of documentation and audit processes for all Food Safety Programs in relationship to GFSI (FSSC 22000), Kosher and HALAL. Collaborate with the various departments to implement quality strategies, conduct audits, and lead corrective actions. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization maintains high standards of quality across all its products and is integral to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. By overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), the Quality Systems Supervisor ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, ultimately enhancing product quality and organizational efficiency.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Creating and updating the Quality Management System in alignment with quality standards (ISO 22000 and GMP) and relevant regulations.
- Performing regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identifying areas for improvement.
- Address Quality issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide food safety and quality training through Alchemy training program and other training applications to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the QMS remains effective and compliant.
- Responsible for document creation, review, modification, and control.
- Leads and performs Mock recalls, reports findings, and implements corrective actions.
- Performs internal audits and leads external audits including regulatory compliance.
- Performs Management review of quality and food safety system.
- Maintains corrective action log.
- Follow up on corrective actions for internal and external audits.
- Participates as a member of the Food safety and Food quality teams.
- Maintain all HACCP (Food Safety Plan) documentation and requirements for HACCP (Food Safety Plan) procedures.
- Prepares and communicates the Food Safety Objectives and Food Safety Plan KPI.
- Trains internal auditors in quality and food safety standards.
- Assist QA Manager as directed.

Previous experience in the Food Industry preferred.
3-5 years of experience in Quality Systems Management required.
Specialized Knowledge

- Professional Certifications Preferred: PCQI, HACCP, and Internal Auditor Certification
Skills / Abilities
- Strong communication abilities both written and verbal.

Main Responsibilities
