A Quality Assurance Manager Has The Following Primary Responsibilities

  • Verify audit standards for SQF, MSC, FDA and compliance with DMR lobster regulations.
  • Lead regulatory audits with the organizations mentioned above.
  • Work with production to effectively realize a Culture of Quality.
  • Drive FSP for new products and methods.
  • Pursue validation studies with process authorities.
  • Manage a Quality Department to effectively monitor CCP's throughout daily production.
  • Manage an effective sanitation program.
  • Play an active role in expansion and renovation of existing areas from a FSP design perspective.
  • Develop and monitor a budget for Quality Department with monthly updates to track status.
  • Pursue perfection in cost reduction, new programs, and team development - constant emphasis on producing a better product.
  • Manage an environmental, product, and water testing program to ensure standards.
  • Approaches work with "People Safety, Food Safety" mindset.

- Preform administrative functions that support the process of reports and appeals.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal regulations, policies, and procedures as they apply to student financial aid.

- Maintain current understanding of the processing procedures.

- Utilize available systems, knowledge-base and standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to respond to inquiries and perform job duties.

- Identify trends in the information provided by agents to identify areas of improvement and areas that might require additional training.

- Organize, lead, or participate in calibration meetings including the selection of topics to be evaluated and discussed,

- Assist with new hire presentations, assignments, and certifications.

- Demonstrate and maintain appropriate judgment with confidential information.

- May perform other functions as requested by management within scope of level or occasional support of lower-level functions as business/volume need require

The Position
Plan, manage & perform laboratory validation activities. Routine review of laboratory validation procedures & completed validation protocols for accuracy, completeness & maintenance of validated state per corporate requirements. Change control responsible for QC equipment. Collaboration & coordination with IT, metrology & other key stakeholders to ensure the right quality, cost & timely completion of all deliverables.

+ Support systematic problem solving related to equipment qualification
+ Reviews documentation for accuracy & completeness
+ Contribute to process confirmations
+ Maintain training qualifications on time

Physical Requirements
Moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. Ability to do close precision work with their hands. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting and standing) 50% of the time. May required corrected vision to 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder. May be required to work at elevated heights. Occasionally works around odorous &/or hazardous materials.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or a relevant field of study from an accredited university required

Job Summary:

The HVAC/MEP QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in service, preventive maintenance (PMs), and installation projects. This role requires in-depth knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations. The Inspector will perform inspections, document findings, and coordinate with project teams to ensure all work meets company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical service, preventive maintenance, and installation projects.
    • Ensure all mechanical systems are installed, maintained, and operating according to specifications and industry standards.
    • Identify and document any defects, non-conformances, or areas needing improvement.

    • Verify compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant building codes.

    • Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
    • Prepare comprehensive QA/QC reports and submit them to the Corporate Commissioning and Startup Manager.
    • Document all preventive maintenance activities and mechanical service tasks.

    • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

    • Provide guidance and support to technicians and contractors to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED required.

We have an opportunity for a Construction Quality Control Manager who will lead and coordinate project-specific quality control activities in the Data Center space. This role is crucial in ensuring that all work aligns with on-site construction methods, as outlined in Hourigan's procedures manual, project requirements, and contract documents.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Superintendent on all project start-up activities as detailed in the procedures manual.
  • Thoroughly understand and maintain current project contract documents.
  • Develop and manage the project submittal/procurement log in coordination with Subcontractors, the Project Manager, and the Superintendent.
  • Review all project submittals to ensure compliance with construction contract documents.
  • Track the status of all submittals to guarantee timely submissions and returns, preventing any disruptions to the construction schedule.
  • Co-facilitate Subcontractor pre-installation and coordination meetings alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent.
  • Inspect all incoming materials for adherence to construction contract specifications.
  • Conduct regular visual inspections throughout all phases of work to ensure high-quality workmanship and the use of approved materials.
  • Identify and resolve project-specific issues on-site in collaboration with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager.
  • Implement and enforce all required on-site Quality Control and Safety procedures.
  • Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) by committing to safe work practices, raising concerns, attending and applying safety and health training, and eliminating hazards within your capability and control and the help of safety staff.
  • Provide resources and support to ensure positive safety and health outcomes in line with the Hourigan SHMS

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Safety, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7+ years of industry experience, preferably in general contracting.
  • OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Certifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, maintaining urgency to ensure project standards and timelines are consistently met.
  • Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, LEED certification processes, and industry best practices.
  • Approach every responsibility and interaction with integrity, fairness, and care.
