The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for leading recruitment efforts for professional and white-collar roles across a variety of sectors. This Position also includes and not limited to visiting the Client office once to thrice a week and subject to change as per client needs for the onsite visits /performing Onsite Supervisor Duties which includes and not limited to serve as the main point of contact between Arrow Workforce and the client, ensuring smooth daily operations and workforce performance. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing employees, maintaining client relationships, and supporting a safe, productive work environment. What you need to be successful

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in corporate or agency environments focused on white-collar positions
  • Strong sourcing and interviewing skills across administrative, professional, and mid-management roles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional communication and client service skills

What you will be doing day to day

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for white-collar positions including roles in administration, finance, HR, customer service, marketing, and operations
  • Partner closely with clients and hiring managers to understand organizational needs, develop job descriptions, and align talent strategies
  • Source and engage top-tier talent through ATS platforms, LinkedIn, job boards, and targeted networking
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience through effective communication, transparency, and timely updates

  • Track key recruitment metrics and leverage data to improve hiring processes

Position Summary

The Human Resources Specialist supports the CHRO in managing the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This role provides expertise in HR compliance, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR record keeping. The HR Specialist helps ensure that Southern Avenue Charter School attracts, retains, and supports high-quality staff to deliver exceptional educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment: post job openings, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and communicate with candidates.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including background checks, I-9 verification, and benefits enrollment.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, helping resolve staff questions, concerns, and conflicts in a timely, confidential manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and HRIS records in compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, open enrollment, and leave requests (FMLA, personal leave, etc.).
  • Coordinate and track required staff trainings, certifications, and licensure renewals.

  • Provide general administrative support for the HR department as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources or a related administrative role; school or nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships with diverse staff.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining compliance for all regulatory bodies.

Duties

During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:

  • Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
  • Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
  • Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
  • Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
  • Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
  • Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
  • Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
  • Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
  • Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.

  • Complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center(FLETC) in Glynco, GA and 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
  • Sign a mobility agreement stating your willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas.
  • Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.
