**Responsibilities:**
+ Performs day-to-day and ad-hoc activities related to the efficient processing of U.S. regulatory capital policy inquiry submissions.
+ Supports the execution and documentation of effective internal controls to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
+ Performs day-to-day and ad-hoc activities related to complex policy analyses and interpretation of the U.S. Basel regulatory capital rules.
+ Assists the regulatory policy subject matter experts' review of regulatory capital requirements for business initiatives, new product offerings, and changes in Basel regulatory capital treatment.
+ Contributes to the comprehensive compendium of regulatory capital interpretations.
+ Works directly with peers and program leaders in the ongoing accuracy and governance of regulatory capital interpretations.
**Qualifications:**
+ 5-8 years of experience analyzing and interpreting U.S. Basel regulatory capital regulations and U.S. banking regulatory reporting forms and instructions.
+ Ability to navigate through a large organization to promote and build consensus around interpretations and viewpoints.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts and make accessible to management.
+ Strong understanding of financial products, U.S. banking statutes, and U.S. banking agency regulations and supervisory oversight.
+ Strong technical problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.

The Regulatory Reporting Lead Analyst position is an integral member of the Global Regulatory Reporting (GRR). This is a high profile function, providing financial information to the regulators including the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly with Management on a regular basis and will also interact very closely with other groups throughout Citi, including RWA Controllers, Risk, and Treasury. The core responsibilities include preparation and analysis of the FR Y-15 and G-SIB calculation. Other responsibilities include earnings release, preparation/review of Senior Management Presentations and Analyst Packages, internal controls on Regulatory data integrity, data quality improvement projects as well as implementation of both external and internal changes (i.e., GSIB NPR, new reporting systems, etc.).
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead in-depth analysis of variances for FR Y-15 report, focusing on reporting lines that impact the Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIB) surcharge calculation. Coordinate the annual GSIB Assessment.
+ Keep abreast of industry, regulatory, and accounting developments. Apply solid knowledge of Finance/accounting concepts and principles to ensure accurate Regulatory Reporting filings. Continually monitor developments in the Federal Reserve Reporting Arena and assist the Citi Finance functions in implementing and meeting the reporting requirements.
+ Communicate effectively, clearly, concisely and accurately using written and verbal communications with Senior Management, Regulatory Agencies and Internal/External Auditors.
+ Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a concise, succinct manner to all organizational levels.
+ Work and partner with multiple areas across Citi, including RWA Controllers, SEC Reporting, Treasury, Risk, Accounting Policy, Financial Planning and Analysis, Legal, and Investor Relations to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy of the report filings. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key contacts.
+ Assist in driving interpretation, change implementation, process efficiencies and continuous process improvement efforts to strengthen controls.
+ Participate in data quality improvement projects to strengthen controls and improve report accuracy.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 5-7 years of experience with US Bank Regulatory Reports (e.g. FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FR Y-15). Knowledge of FR Y-15 and GSIB Calculation is preferred.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
+ Interested in performing independent research and analysis of rules, regulations, instructions, and definitions.
+ Comfortable with US GAAP (e.g. accounting pronouncements).
+ Ability to innovate and champion process changes for efficiency and productivity.
+ Highly motivated and goal-oriented with ability to lead in a professional and challenging environment and deliver results against fast-paced deliverable deadlines.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under demanding time frames and respond appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.
+ Outstanding presentation, communication, interpersonal and coaching skills. Ability to work with different levels of management.
+ Ability to develop effective and productive working relationships with a wide range of groups across Citi as well as external auditors and regulators.
+ Able to analyze and think through highly complex issues. Appropriately execute and implement against a well thought through framework in a seamless manner
+ Strong strategic thinking skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint. SQL a plus.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or related field. 2–3 years of experience in regulatory, compliance, or quality roles in the food industry.
