POSITION OVERVIEW: The Northwest School is seeking a part-time HR Clerk (Leave Replacement) to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department from August through December 2025. This temporary position is intended to overlap with the incumbent for a smooth transition, supporting HR operations with a focus on employee data, onboarding, and light payroll or HRIS tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain and update employee records in digital and physical formats
- Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including background checks, I-9s, and document collection
- Assist with payroll preparation.
- Enter and update employee data in the HRIS system (Paycom experience a plus) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to basic staff questions related to benefits, policies, and time off
- Help with filing, compliance tracking, and general administrative duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digital and physical.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Director as needed.
- Support the employee recruiting process by providing administrative support to search committees and the Director of HR, including scheduling meetings, candidate communication, interview schedules, and creating and distributing tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:
