Job Title: Research Center Director, Neuroscience (240003FH) Institution: Children’s National Hospital (CN) Based in Washington, D.C., the hospital was established in 1870 to help every child grow up stronger. Today, the 323-bed acute care hospital is the only freestanding healthcare facility exclusively for children and the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore metropolitan area. Children’s National serves as the regional referral center for pediatric emergency, trauma, cancer, cardiac and critical care as well as neonatology, orthopaedicsurgery, neurology and neurosurgery. Position Overview: The Director of the Center for Neuroscience Research (CNR) will engage, lead and energize the science community of Children's Research Institute (CRI) at Children's National Health System (CNHS) to build new initiatives and collaborations both across and outside of the organization. The Director will identify strategic priorities for investment and provide leadership in neuroscience research, scholarship, education and assume responsibility for all facets of the Center's finance and administration. Key Responsibilities: Identify areas of strategic importance in neurosciences, collaborate to identify and recruit talented and diverse faculty, enhance resources for existing faculty and trainees, and foster faculty engagement with the organization's strategic research initiatives. Plan, direct, and foster new interdisciplinary initiatives across the neurosciences, engaging multiple disciplines and divisions. Develop comprehensive annual and long-range budgets and plans consistent with the Center's objectives; implement annual reviews and performance reporting. Identify and assess new opportunities for the research community arising from rapidly evolving developments in neuroscience research. Work with leadership and foundation to identify and foster new relationships with prospective funders. Foster the establishment of new partnerships with industry and biotechnology. Qualifications: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Medical Doctor (M.D.) (Required). 10 years of prior experience leading a sponsored program funded research program. Demonstrated excellence and productivity in scholarship. Required Skills/Knowledge: Leads an internationally known research program supported by extramural funding. Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising multiple direct reports. Strong commitment to innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and education. Licenses and Certifications: If the Director is a physician involved in patient care, they must be fully licensed and credentialed as an attending staff physician on the medical staff of Children’s National Medical Center. We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Pharmaceutical Research Center to:
- Provide safe, ethical and compliant provision of investigational/study medications to research subjects enrolled in clinical drug trials within UW Health.
- Collaborate with research stakeholders including principal investigators, study teams, and pharmaceutical industry personnel to address the comprehensive logistics of clinical drug trial implementation within UW Health.
- Provide research subject care including drug preparation and dispensing activities, collection of unique data mandates, and management of drug interaction screening to maintain protocol compliance.
- Provide training to Pharmacy Residents and PharmD students through practical and didactic experiences.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of inpatient experience or completion of PGY1 and/or PGY2. Investigational drug services residency highly preferred. Board certification preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree Required
- Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency training program Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year of clinical patient care and orders management experience Required
- 3 years of institutional experience (hospital or integrated health system) or completion of an ASHP accredited residency training program Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin within 90 Days Required
- Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.) Preferred

This 1st shift DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN position will be located in our Research and Development Facility. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Multi-faceted role to assist with processes in a rapid tooling lab as well as in the manufacturing of prototype ceramic cores and wax patterns
- Operate injection molding machines, and process prototype parts as required to meet customer requirements
- Occasionally tasked with tooling and product inspections, both manual as well as with structured light scanning
- Operate equipment in a rapid prototyping tooling environment, primarily additive (3D printing) in nature.
- Responsible for standardizing/documenting procedures
- Work closely with engineering and other technicians, with a common goal of producing quick turn core, pattern and casting solutions in support of both internal and external development projects.
- Communicate with numerous groups and juggle priorities in fast paced environment.
- Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities, as required.
- Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- 1+ years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Associate degree in manufacturing industrial or mechanical technology from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment

Qualifications
