ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Oberto retail store team has an opening for the critical position of Temporary Retail Store Clerk. The temporary store clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, and completing support activities in the factory store.
SCHEDULE:
Must have open availability Monday -Thursday and Saturday 9:15-5:45 and Friday 8:15-5:45 the store is closed on Sundays. There will be flexibility with the schedule for a day off between Monday - Thursday. **Must be able to work Friday & Saturday's
WAGE: $20.90 per hour, working hours are expected to be between 24-40 hours weekly.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Provide superior customer service by greeting customers and providing information and samples of store products.
- Complete customer transactions by accurately operating a cash register.
- Keep the store inventory fresh and stocked by rotating product, unloading pallets, and putting products on displays and shelves.
- Assist in the Store lunch sales by helping in food preparation, taking customer orders, and assembling orders in a timely manner.
- Answer the store phone with a friendly, customer-oriented greeting and tone.
- Maintain a clean, safe store environment for employees and customers by identifying and removing hazards and cleaning/clearing any needed areas.
- Keep store signage visible and neat by regularly inspecting the store and correcting any problems.
- Maintain accuracy of product display by bagging and labeling products as required.
- Maintain a smooth, accurate flow of inventory by shipping and receiving product as required.
- Assist in monthly physical inventories.
- Complete store orders for products.
- Record and transfer product spoils.
- Assist at events where Oberto factory stores have a booth.
- High School or Equivalent Required
- 6 months customer services experience in grocery or retail environment preferred.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs.
- Cash register experience preferred.

The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives and provide solutions. This customer service focused team member is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store’s business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping.
