**Mgr Consumer & Shopper Trends & Tools**
**Position Overview:**
As the Manager of Consumer & Shopper Trends and Tools, you are at the forefront of identifying macro trends within the OTC and adjacent categories. Your role is crucial in the Consumer and Shopper Insights organization, where you utilize strong storytelling skills to create materials that inform brand team innovation and establish thought leadership around the consumer and shopper in OTC. You are responsible for developing materials and support for brand and category workshops that require foresight and trends, ensuring that brand teams are equipped with actionable insights for decision-making.
**Your Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Identify and analyze macro trends in the OTC and adjacent categories to inform brand strategy and innovation;
+ Create compelling and visually engaging presentations and materials to communicate trends and insights to brand teams and retailers;
+ Collaborate with the Category Consumer and Shopper Insights teams to integrate trend analysis into ongoing brand and category strategies;
+ Develop and support workshops for brand teams focusing on foresight and trends;
+ Manage relationships with external vendors related to trends and macro learning;
+ Work closely with Field Shopper Based Design and Marketing Excellence teams to align trend insights with shopper and marketing strategies;
+ Serve as the Global liaison and point person to bring best practices forward;
+ Stay informed about industry developments and emerging trends, providing timely updates to internal stakeholders;
+ Foster a culture of innovation by promoting the use of trend insights in strategic planning and execution.
**Who You Are:**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Consumer Insights, or a related field;
+ Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly and engagingly;
+ Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a passion for understanding consumer and shopper behavior;
+ Experience managing vendor relationships and utilizing external resources for trend analysis;
+ Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders;
+ Proficiency in data visualization tools to create impactful presentations and reports.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ MBA or advanced degree with a focus on marketing, consumer insights, or business strategy;
+ 3-5 years of experience in trend analysis, market research, or related roles, preferably within the consumer goods or OTC sectors;
+ Experience in the OTC or healthcare industries, with a strong understanding of market dynamics.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $127153.27 - 190729.91. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Work with demand planning to develop demand outlook including replenishment flow, promotional activity, and NPI load-in and exit planning of SKUs.
**Knowledge and Experience:**
+ 5+ years of related experience is required.
+ Proven experience as a Category Manager or Retail Analyst, preferably within the plumbing or home improvement industry.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
+ Financial analysis of pricing, retail margin and cost analysis.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail analytics tools; experience with SAP is a plus.
+ Excellent project management and organizational skills with a focus on delivering results.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
+ Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding performance goals.
+ Ability to travel 5-10%.
**Education and Certification:**
+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
