What will you be doing?   

  • Ensure that the given geography meets or exceeds all sales targets and goals
  • Recruit, hire, manage, and develop/coach a high performing team
  • Create and drive region strategy and short-term tactics to achieve business goals in a timely manner
  • Execute Consistent and Frequent Performance Management with Sales Team
  • Work in the field with sales representatives to coach and counsel on improvement of selling skills, product knowledge, and capabilities needed for successful representative development and maximum goal achievement
  • Monitor data analytics information (sales trends, activity, market share) continuously to ensure full utilization of available resources and tools for maximum impact on prescribing providers while constantly looking for opportunities to improve
  • Set a positive tone and high standard for the regional team in terms of work ethic, culture, expectations, business ethics
  • Assess competitive threats, best practices and field learnings and share as appropriate.
  • Aid in the design of business plans, employee development plans, monthly reports as required
  • Organize, participate in employee training, conferences, and regional meetings
  • Collaborate with Market Access and Patient Access on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs as appropriate
  • Drive call plan adherence and execution
  • Communicate with Tonix key sales leadership regularly (written and verbal)
  • Maintain compliance standards    

What do you need for this position?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to influence team member activities
  • At least 3 years of sales management experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Healthcare Industry is required with proven ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on set objectives.
  • Product launch experience highly preferred
  • Rheumatology and/or CNS experience preferred
  • CSO field management experience plus
  • Ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-quality team
  • A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
  • Greater than 50% travel including overnights with be required

Assists with the scheduling and supervision of Team Members as well as with the day-to-day flow of the department. Oversees and maintains compelling bakery, coffee, and juice displays. Supports the Bakery Team Leader and Associate Team Leader(s) to ensure smooth operation of the Bakery Team. All Whole Foods Market Retail jobs require ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times. All positions must be performed in accordance with team and store Standard Operating Procedures. Further, Team Members must be prepared and able to perform the duties inherent in other Team Member job descriptions. Job Responsibilities

  • Supervises and delegates tasks to Bakery Team Members.
  • Works with Bakery Trainer to train Team Members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
  • Assists in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
  • Keeps all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
  • Opens and closes department according to established procedures.
  • Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
  • Communicates team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader
  • Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution.
  • Fosters and encourages a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
  • Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs and directs Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers; responds promptly to customer needs and questions.
  • Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
  • Provides timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.
  • Consistently communicates and models WFM vision and goals.

Experience
  • 12+ months retail experience.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
