Summary:
The Senior Production Equipment Mechanic plays a critical role within the Maintenance Department at Oso BioPharmaceuticals Manufacturing, LLC, supporting all aspects of manufacturing and facility maintenance. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and timely operation of utility, facility, and production equipment and systems, which is vital to maintaining manufacturing capabilities and contributing to the organization's overall success. As a senior-level mechanic, this individual provides expert hands-on support for the installation, repair, and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include performing Installation Qualifications (IQ), executing preventive and routine maintenance, and optimizing equipment performance. The Senior Mechanic works independently under the general direction of the Maintenance Shift Supervisor and with guidance from senior staff, applying extensive mechanical experience to troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, and enhance manufacturing systems.
Key responsibilities include organizing and planning preventive maintenance schedules, documenting maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and cGMP standards, and providing leadership and mentorship to other mechanics. This role also involves collaborating with Technical Operations on new and existing customer projects, interfacing with vendors for part fabrication, and proactively identifying and resolving recurring equipment issues to support robust and reliable production operations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting and repairs on semiconductor process equipment.
+ Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
+ Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checks and characterization.
+ Work closely with process engineers to understand process equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications.
+ As needed, modifies equipment to improve up-time or overall process performance.

**?What You'll Do**
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping production running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
+ Performing preventive and corrective maintenance (50/50 split)
+ Troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems
+ Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
+ Handling basic electrical troubleshooting (motors, control systems, 480V, 120V/low voltage)
+ Working with boiler and refrigeration systems
**?What You Bring**
+ 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
+ Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
+ Strong skills in both electrical and mechanical repair
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics
+ Your own set of tools
