Marathon Petroleum Company LP has an opening for an experienced Routine Maintenance Scheduler at its refinery located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is located in the Maintenance organization and reports to the Planning Manager.
Overview
This position will manage resources and priorities to produce a 7-day frozen executable schedule, a 14-day soft schedule, and a 12-week look-ahead schedule. This position would also ensure that all Routine Maintenance schedules are created and managed for all stakeholders. The hours of the position are a 4/10 schedule Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM - 4:30 PM. This role will periodically support overtime work, weekends, and turnarounds/outages, as required. Support on-call 4-6 weeks per year and support and respond to off-hour situations, as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Routine Maintenance:
+ Leads daily/weekly scheduling meetings with routine maintenance and operations to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule.
+ Creates a daily/weekly schedule using SAP/Prometheus.
+ Creates and tracks monthly, quarterly and yearly look ahead of schedules.
+ Maintain accurate workforce headcounts within SAP work centers and Shift Updater.
+ Review and validate all materials on-site before work is scheduled to be executed.
+ Interface with numerous MPC/contract planners to assure their plans are per MPC standards
+ Preventative Maintenance:
+ maintains PM maintenance schedule
+ Monitors PM compliance reports to track coming due PMs and prevent any from becoming overdue.
+ Monitors and maintains PM manpower leveling
+ Reporting & Performance Metrics:
+ Review KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and work with stakeholders on areas of improvement (schedule adherence, productivity, resource utilization, schedule breakers, etc.).
+ Participates in the Workflow Improvement Team
+ Auditing and Verification:
+ Check work orders for proper user status, revision code, and order basic start date in preparation for creating weekly work schedules.
+ Review preventive and corrective work orders to make sure planned steps are logically tied with relationships and have the required craft and man-hours to perform the work.
+ Work with area planners to ensure proper coding is assigned to the WO for scheduling.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum (Required) Qualifications
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date)
Must be proficient in the Computer Based Program System for planning OR scheduling (SAP preferred).
Must have at least 2 years of experience in a refinery or heavy industry with planning or scheduling experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have strong organizational, planning, critical thinking, and communication skills. With the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic refining environment.
Must be able to wear appropriate PPE in the refinery (respirator), be able to physically perform all tasks in the field and take hair drug tests and physical.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP experience is highly preferred.
Experience with Prometheus Scheduler is preferred.
PDF creation and mark-up knowledge is preferred.
Advanced Excel/Access experience is preferred.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role include performing various types of maintenance work on printing press equipment, such as:
+ Skillfully conduct inspections, preventative, proactive and repair type maintenance activities on all production related equipment, to include bearings, belts and chains, coupling alignment, gear boxes, bench work; pumps, rebuilding and overhauling; conveyor maintenance, fans and blowers, robotics, electric motor replacement and diagnostics.
+ Utilize and maintain assembly and part drawings to determine part quality and conformity.
+ Follow SOP's, and written procedures, to perform all types of proactive and preventative maintenance tasks, repairs and rebuilds on all production related equipment. Utilize equipment and component documentation to determine proper tensions, speeds, alignment tolerances, pressures, flows, etc.
+ Proactive in creating and maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times.
+ Properly lubricate, identify, adjust and replace complex components and assemblies of production related equipment to include cylinder changes, folder and print unit drive train rebuilds, and installation of mechanical speed controls.
+ Display a complete understanding of the production process and factors that can affect production yields and quality.
+ Display an ability to routinely and successfully troubleshoot production related deficiencies and determine a plan to correct and prevent similar conditions through scheduled maintenance tasks. Required Qualifications:

+ Good verbal and written comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision, is required.

**Equipment Maintenance Technician**

The Boston-area facility is Catalent's global Center of Excellence for spray dry dispersion and Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) capsule manufacture and packaging. On-site spray dryers include best-in-class GEA Niro SD1, SD4 and SD7, the latter being the largest CGMP unit of its kind for DPI in North America.
Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician. The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing maintenance and technical support for service and repair of production and ancillary equipment at the Chelsea MA facility. You will support spray drying and downstream operations by providing quality, compliant and timely equipment service to prevent excessive down-time and ensure optimum equipment operation. The Maintenance Technician also provides technical assistance to operators.
**This is a full-time on-site salaried role: work hours Wednesday - Sunday weekly from 6am-2:30pm with periodic overtime as necessary. NOTE: Training period for 3 months will be completed Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm.**

**The Role:**
+ Provide support for validation, calibration, and preventative maintenance of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and non-GMP equipment and systems
+ Diagnose and repair of all electronic, pneumatic and control system problems on GMP equipment
+ Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing/packaging equipment
+ Execute equipment-related work orders in support of Operations. Manage and order equipment spare parts inventory. Troubleshoot problems during equipment set-up/change-over
+ Assist in design and implementation of engineering controls. Assist process engineers as needed
+ All other duties as assigned
**The Candidate:**
+ Requires a High School Diploma minimum plus vocational/trade school degree or training
+ Must have at least five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in cGMP biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, food, or other FDA regulated industry
+ Must have basic computer skills - including but not limited to e-mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer, and preventative maintenance software
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
+ Must be able to service and repair mechanical and electrical equipment and systems
+ Must have general understanding of (Programmable Logic Controller) PLC systems
+ **Physical Requirements:** Individual may be required stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds; minimal travel on a rare basis; ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Regular use of telephone and email. Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents

+ Carries out environmental safety audits (5S) in all technical premises and reports any discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager.

+ Participates in and seeks out conversations with various business contacts depending on the issues encountered to arrive at an optimal solution.
+ Carries out work by themselves, takes responsibility for organizing work or has work carried out by third parties according to the skills required.
**Required Education:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ 2 years' higher education in maintenance preferred
**Required Experience:**
+ Five (5)+ years experience in maintenance role(s), which include electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, automation, robotics, and/or vision.
+ Demonstrated ability to read drawings, diagrams, and technical instructions.
+ Ability to analyze a breakdown, make a diagnosis, then carry out the work.
+ Use job-related IT resources (machine program, MP2)
+ Familiarity with 5S methods.
+ Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
+ Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
