**Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct and document required behind-the-wheel training for drivers.
+ Assist in driver recruitment process.
+ Conduct and/or participate in monthly safety meetings.
+ Conduct and document semi-annual behind-the-wheel driver evaluations.
+ Participate in the development and administration of customer safety awareness programs, and company-sponsored safety programs.
+ Review driver records from the state for violations and take appropriate corrective action.
+ Coordinate with safety and training supervisor to notify drivers of upcoming licenses and/or certificate expiration dates.
+ Review VCRs and perform administrative safety duties as needed.
+ Investigate, report and record vehicle accidents, work-related injuries and incidents.
+ Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager

**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Commercial driving experience required.
+ The Trainer has to be certified with the State of Connecticut.
+ Thorough knowledge of Company regulations and state and laws relating to student transportation.
+ Appropriate vehicle class license, current medical and school bus driver's certificate.
+ Ability to interface and communicate with all types of individuals.
+ Must be knowledgeable of adult training techniques.
+ Computer literacy, preferably in word processing and spreadsheets, excellent interpersonal skills, well developed written and verbal communication skills. Basic math skills,

**Job Summary**
The Safety Trainer is responsible for acting as the front-line safety professional conducting safety inspections, observations, investigations, safety training, and regulatory compliance for OSHA, DOT, and EPA. The Safety Specialist anticipates and predicts hazards based on experience, historical data, and other informational sources. They recognize and identify hazards in existing or future systems, equipment, products, facilities, work sites and operational work procedures. The Safety Specialist evaluates and assesses the probability and severity of loss events and accidents which may result from actual or potential hazards. The specialist applies methods of conducting hazard analyses and interprets the results. The safety specialist provides advice and counseling about compliance with safety, health and environmental laws, codes, regulations, standards, and the related company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Provides classroom and/or behind-the-wheel training to new operators are thoroughly trained. May provide other training to location personnel
+ Responsible for the direct supervision of students.
+ Ensures Operator Development Program (ODP) is followed.
+ May assist with reviews of Clever Device Events , to include counseling of operators.
+ Tracks attendees and maintains training documentation based on regulations and company policy.
+ While the focus is on driver training, employee may also have other safety program responsibilities (e.g. accident investigations, forms compliance and safety meetings)
+ Assists with ride checks operators as needed
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 1-3 years training experience
+ 1-3 years transportation, safety, or related experience
+ Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues
+ Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Ability of effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
+ Good verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials, and general public
+ Fluent in English
+ Demonstrates consistent attendance and punctuality
+ Possesses working vehicle to travel within service areas as needed
+ CDL CLASS A or B required, including Passenger Endorsement and Airbrakes
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
+ Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed

Sanitation Trainer br> The Trainer assists in the onboarding of newly hired associates to teach them to perform jobs in a safe and efficient manner. The Trainer also facilitates training and testing related to safety and Food Safety.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct and facilitate safety training and other training for new associate Departmental Orientations
Train new associates on how to perform their jobs, including review of work instructions and procedures and correct usage of work tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Train new associates to clean equipment and work areas in the production plant, following daily and other master sanitation plans.
