In this role you will be responsible estimating and selling project related fire protection alarm systems and service within the Orlando market. This position nurtures project leads from the estimate/budget phase to sales close with existing and new general contractor, owner, and developer partners. Pay Ranges

27,669.00 - 58,865.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Job Purpose:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generation of new client opportunities and the expansion of existing customer opportunities in the defined target market that meet the product and service sales goals and new client requirements. We are seeking a talented Outside Sales Representatives with experience in Industrial Sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop, cultivate, and penetrate the defined selling territory and target market prospects, primarily by bringing in orders from new accounts
  • The ongoing development and deepening of existing client relationships in the selling territory
  • Follow and utilize company's sales systems and prospect development processes.
  • Identify proper prospect buying influences and correctly identify their site challenges, the reasons they are occurring, and solutions for solving their challenges.
  • Meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activity and revenue objectives
  • Participate in the development of your annual sales development plan with management
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with all team members to ensure a consistent and effective delivery to the client.
  • Build an effective professional network by participating in organizations and events that foster these opportunities and builds referral sources
  • Endeavor to grow personally and professionally by participating in industry and sales related seminars, workshops, and organizations
  • Ability to complete and present daily and weekly pipeline reports in a timely manner
Job Requirements:
  • At least three years successful outside sales experience preferred in Industrial/Equipment sales- preferably to petrochemical/refinery environments
  • Must understand and utilize consultative selling
  • Must be sales and results driven
  • Must be able to maintain reports on quotas, prospective customers, and various other data
  • Experience working with a CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Mechanical background a plus
  • Effective problem solving skills and experience with prospects and clients
  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
  • An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization across diverse cultures, and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
