Purpose of Job:
The Pre Sell Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting Interstate’s line of products and programs by supporting dealer growth through strategic sales initiatives, account management, and new business development.
Job Components:
- Support sales program participation by gaining knowledge of Interstate Batteries’ Sales programs and partnering with dealers to identify how specific programs can support unit growth for dealers.
- Travel regularly within the assigned area to engage with dealers.
- Meet or exceed sales and service metrics as defined by the manager.
- Complete pre-sale tickets accurately and submit them to the warehouse in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with a pre sell representative or manager; including but not limited to text messages, email, and phone calls.
- Generate new dealer leads, identify prospects, and set up new accounts
- Merchandise and clean products, and display for safe and easy access by customers.
- Manage a dealer account, including but not limited to: sales, consignment inventory management, warranties, rotating inventory, cash collections, and invoicing.
- Conduct face-to-face sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs as needed.
- Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
- Establish, build, and maintain dealer relationships with new and existing dealers through in-person meetings and remote communication.
- Actively listen to customers and address any concerns related to products, sales, services, or equipment.
- Interact professionally with all stakeholders, including team members, managers, and customers, to ensure satisfaction and account growth.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate (or equivalent); 2- or 4-year college degree in a related field preferred .
- 1 year of Business-to-Business sales experience preferred .
- Route sales and cold calling experience in (Direct Store Delivery) DSD environment preferred .
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while covering a designated area.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent travel.
- Experience with MS Office required .
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships and provide reliable support.
- Concise and professional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Concur, Workday, and/or Tableau preferred .
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required .
Scope Data:
- Cover a designated geographic area, with frequent travel to customer sites.

Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Engineering)
+ Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a technical sales environment, with direct reports
+ Demonstrated ability to translate marketing plans into operational tactics
+ Strong focus on employee development, including onboarding, training, and performance management
+ Experience in setting and achieving financial and non-financial metrics
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with peers to guide strategic direction
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $9,000 - 113,000/ year.

· Build and maintain positive relationships with current Trade Pro Members and their clients to make ProSource their primary source for flooring and cabinets.
· Proactively (and consistently) reach out to trade pros that are not currently doing business with ProSource and help them understand how ProSource and become their partner & grow their business through membership.
· Be curious by asking questions and understanding your member's or your prospect’s business, growth goals, and their current projects so that you can provide solutions for them and what separates you from their competition.
· Consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience for your trade pros and their clients.
· Learn and stay on top of the industry products, key home remodeling trends, and industry news by leveraging our extensive training opportunities, including online and classroom training, and vendor reps and events.
· Maintain and update our CRM system with information about your members and prospects.
· Have a sense of urgency and motivation to meet and exceed goals.
· Build strong partnerships with the showroom team.
· Have a positive attitude and enjoy your job!
