Position Summary:

Responsible for managing and driving sales growth, while sustaining strategic relationships within an assigned territory for Residential & Commercial HVAC, Commercial Refrigeration, Pump / Water Moving, and General Industries market spaces in our Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment. This position reports to the District Sales Manager.

PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $1.7 Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions which are sold in the residential heating and ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other OEM and aftermarket products. Brands include Genteq motors , as well as Fasco, Elco, DEC Star, Leeson, motor and blowers.

Responsibilities:

* Sell and promote Regal Rexnord's catalogue of products in the PT, Leisure Water, or HVAC/R industries.

*Provide overall account management responsibilities for motor, controls and blower customers within the assigned territory
* Develop and sustain a Territory Sales Plan by account to meet/exceed the business targets for the region
* Create and drive execution of new growth opportunities, while maintaining an active project deck in CRM
* Utilization of CRM to manage activities in support of the customer relationships
* Support the PES Solutions Policy Deployment and 80/20 initiatives

* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities
* Lead successful customer contract negotiations and fulfillment of these agreement expectations
* Presentation of proposals and quote to customers and ensure adherence to the pricing strategy as outlined by the PES Business Unit
* Create and strengthen strategic relationships and business performance metrics at established accounts, ensuring Regal as the customers' preferred supplier
* Engage and coordinate all internal functions as required to achieve PES goals, provide short and long-term forecasts to support business planning and timely responses to Business Team Units and/or Sales Leadership requests for critical information and insights
* Participate in product and process training and Business Team Unit strategy/planning sessions as necessary
* Lead successful execution of any internal Regal Rexnord product simplification or restructuring initiatives
* Maintain conduct in accordance with Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years PT, Leisure Water, or HVAC/R industry sales experience
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level of personal initiative and ownership of results
  • Strong computer skills - Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams)
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Must reside in territory


Desired Qualifications:

  • HVAC/R industry experience, experience as an HVAC contractor / technician
  • Demonstrable track record of strong commercial leadership and achievement of sales goals
  • Experience with CRM and forecasting tools
  • Experience with concepts of 80/20 and Lean Management

Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?

**Risk Assessment & Mitigation** :
1. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify physical security vulnerabilities and threats.
2. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and enhance safety measures.
3. Coordinate and participate in emergency drills and safety training sessions.
**Other responsibilities** **:**
+ Manage daily Security operational staffing requirements and administrative functions, meeting business goals and objectives for assigned locations.
+ Conduct quality assurance inspections, monitor, and manage the Security Managers and Officers at the assigned client sites.
+ Ensure subordinate supervisors understand and deliver orders, ensure sufficient resources are available to support and/or establish posts in a timely fashion, and are appropriately filled according to contract requirements and post orders.
+ Oversee the training and operational employment of Security Officers
+ Ensure the highest standards of conduct, appearance, performance, and training are being always met.
+ Keep the AVP apprised of contract performance by accurately communicating the status of compliance and identifying any deficiencies in a timely manner.
**Qualifications & Experience** :
1. Associate's Degree and 3 years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
2. Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff.
3. Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
4. Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry is required.
5. Current state driver's license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), and ability to safely operate a Company vehicle required.
6. Demonstration of strong customer service orientation required, with the ability to effectively resolve client issues in a professional and service-focused manner and to de-escalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant required.
7. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required including the ability to write effective and concise reports in neat, legible handwriting.
8. Must have a high level of technological acumen or mastery of Microsoft Office software, Salesforce, HRIS Platforms, and other web-based management platforms.
9. Professional, articulate; and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
10. Ability to effectively enforce post orders, security standards, and company policies equitably and consistently.
11. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
12. Candidate must be available to work outside the normal shift schedule on an as-needed basis and must be accessible by phone 24/7 for emergency response.
