Purpose (Objective): The incumbent prepares samples for processing and maintains documentation of process to facilitate testing procedures.
Main activities:
- Prepare sample for analysis by recording, weighing, and blending
- Write identification onto plates so that client and sample number can be tracked
- Pipette sample solution into tubes or plates according to the analysis process being performed
- Pour the agar into plates or tubes to begin the growth process
- Collect plates and place them in the incubator for the specified amount of time and temperature
- Prepare media and broth for use in pathogen testing as required

About the Role:
As a CBRE Data Scientist, you will optimize effectiveness and predict outcomes through business, operations, customer, and economic data in order to develop business intelligence.
This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.
What You'll Do:

Work on assigned cross-functional research or analytical projects leveraging advanced computational algorithms.

Apply the tools of modern data science using open-source architecture. Coordinate data aggregation and curate reports using various business intelligence and reporting applications.

Support and maintain applications, networks, and devices. Work with vendors to deliver updates, resolve issues, and manage product lifecycles and upgrades.

Statistics, product outcomes, large data, Real Estate outcomes.

Research and design application development, infrastructure, or service standards.

Serve as the internal Digital & Technology liaison to an assigned area of responsibility.

Responsible for developing and executing small to medium project plans.

Exhibit analytical rigor and judgment to present a comprehensive data story to many levels of the organization.

Confirm the quality and integrity of new and existing data sources. Communicate insights to internal partners.

Collaborate with the agile development team to provide recommendations on enhancing existing or new processes and programs.

Develop custom algorithms for solving real estate business problems across a wealth of structured and unstructured data across many data sources.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard rules and techniques/procedures to do complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 6-10 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree. Data Scientist Certification, preferred.

Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Scientist position is $84,500.00 annually and the maximum salary for the Data Scientist position is $135,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

CAS is currently seeking an Organometallic/Inorganic/Coordination Chemist on our Content Operations team. This position is located at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Position Summary: The Coordination chemist applies scientific expertise, analytical skills, problem solving capabilities, and relevant language skills to help build CAS's world-class collection of chemical information data. They leverage their education and specialized training to curate high-quality research data from patents, journals, technical reports, books, conference proceedings, and dissertations published in 180 countries and in more than 50 languages. The role may include indexing substance and reaction data found in patents, journals, and other chemistry-related literatures. The incumbent may also provide scientific and content knowledge, capabilities, insights, and solutions for other CAS functions.
Job Duties: Analyzes, collects, and curates the valuable chemical structure data disclosed in patent or journal publications, utilizing CAS indexing policies and their expertise. Leverages technical knowledge and applicable language skills to extract key insights and build the CAS Content Collection.
Qualifications: An advanced degree in Organometallic/Inorganic/Coordination Chemistry or a related scientific field is preferred. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of related work experience. Chinese, Japanese, or Korean language skill is desired, but not required. Excellent scientific reading comprehension and writing skills. Humana’s Healthcare Quality & Reporting Improvement (HQRI) department is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a high-performing team dedicated to advancing predictive modeling and analytics in support of our Medicare and Medicaid business. The HQRI team plays a pivotal role within Humana, delivering insights that drive the effectiveness of risk adjustment initiatives.
The Senior Data Scientist in this role will empower risk adjustment decision makers through predictive analytics. They will provide actionable, accurate, and reliable solutions to support our operations and finance partners’ business needs. They will put the customer first, delivering timely and clearly communicated results.
Objectives:

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
