**Your key responsibilities will include:**

**How You'll Make an Impact**
As a **Research Scientist** this role will lead the development of Valvoline light duty lubricant products including passenger car engine oils, motorcycle oils, small engine oils and other related products. + Design and manage novel testing protocols to validate new product formulations in support of differentiated claims, product licensing, OEM approvals, and regulatory compliance.

Support sales and business representatives during customer calls through technical presentations and product demonstrations. Work within cross-functional teams to optimize the strengths of the company and deliver the best experience for customers. Study methods to improve quality of products such as flavor color texture nutritional value as well as physical chemical microbiological composition and statistical data. These methods include powder flow analysis particle size analysis dynamic vapor adsorption viscosity cp and cpk. Work in a fast-paced environment responsible for the application and demonstration of ingredient products. Design and conduct research including new product development and application work for the snack industry. Maintain an active working knowledge of a range of company technologies and innovations. Qualifications and skills
This position requires a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent in Food Science, Nutritional Science, Food Engineering, Biosystem Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field. Plus 5 years of experience as a Research Scientist or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with:
(1) Developing dry-blended and spray-dried seasonings for snack application;
(2) Analyzing Cp values and Cpk values to measure margin for error and specification limits to provide improvements;
(3) Manipulating physical parameters of the powder via formulation and process;
(4) Leading lexicon training of sensory attributes; and
(5) Reverse engineering market or competitor product. Pay Range: $99,112 $120,000 per year. **Who We Are**
We are a motivated team that conducts transdisciplinary research exploring factors linked with health and risk behavior in regard to recreational and medicinal Cannabis use, anxiety, pain management, memory, and cognition. This position is well suited for a Ph.D. graduate pursuing a research career in cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience, translational human participant research, or other clinical or biomedical research.
**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**
Expected responsibilities:
+ We seek a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to aid with NIH-funded studies, including ERP studies of acute influences of THC and CBD on memory encoding and retrieval processes and clinical trials focused on biobehavioral health outcomes, such as substance use, pain, anxiety, sleep, and immune markers.
+ Primary responsibilities include the supervision, design, implementation, analysis, and publication of EEG and clinically relevant data.
+ The postdoctoral research associate will be responsible for coordinating with the Pl and investigative team in order to manage the collection of behavioral and biological data, correspondence with the IRB regarding updates and amendments to relevant protocols, and supervision and training of research staff.
+ The postdoctoral research associate will work closely with the PI to ensure data quality control and the assurance of data safety and monitoring, and in this role will assist the PI to conduct quarterly meetings with the external Data Safety and Monitoring Board.
+ Support for grant writing, data management and analysis, and manuscript preparation will also be expected.
+ Specifically, it is expected that the postdoctoral research associate will take a lead role in analyzing data, preparing data for presentation at professional conferences, and will collaborate with the PI and Co-Investigators to submit manuscripts for publication.
