Job Summary
Senior CNO Developers at Nightwing analyze systems to understand how they work and how they behave when they break. Candidates must be able to play both sides of the fence, both developing and defeating new and advanced security techniques. Senior CNO developers need to have leadership experience and working with customer stakeholders to drive requirements for small to medium sized projects over the course of their development, test, and release cycles. All our engineers write code, but many of our engineers spend as much time taking systems apart as building new ones. A typical day can involve studying disassembly or writing Python to audit a piece of C++ code.

Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and four (4) years' experience or minimum eight (8) years' experience in relevant field,
- Minimum six (6) years' experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python,
- Minimum five (5) years' experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; mission-applicable platforms,
- Minimum four (4) years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniques,
- Minimum two (2) years of experience programming CNO tools for the US Government,
- Minimum two (2) years of experience programming techniques to evade host and or network-based IDS,
- Minimum two (2) years of experience developing packet-level programs, and
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in network sockets programming.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Specialized Qualifications:
- Experience with designing and writing code in C, C++, or similar with a focus on implementing SSL/TLS protocols,
- Expertise in analyzing and securing SSL/TLS protocols,
- Proficiency in analyzing network traffic using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, or custom scripts,
- Understanding of advanced cryptographic attacks and knowledge of secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities (e.g., SSL stripping, man-in-the-middle attacks),
- Solid understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, IDSs, IPSs, and protocols like HTTPS, SSH, and TCP/IP,
- Experience with project management best practices such as Scrum and Kanban methodologies, and
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) along with understanding of basic configuration management principles.

Enterprise Security Architecture Manager Location: Iselin, NJ Compensation: $160-220k Responsibilities: Responsible for the development and implementation of the enterprise security architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's business objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of security architects, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to effectively design and implement security solutions. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, promoting innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Manage team performance, provide regular feedback, and ensure professional development opportunities for all team members. Define clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with the broader security strategy and organizational goals. Work closely with technology teams, including Infrastructure, Cloud, Development, and Security, to embed security into solutions from the outset. Oversee and guide assessments of new technologies, vendors, and third-party services to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and reduce potential risk exposure. Lead and guide project and program managers to ensure the integration of security architecture across various initiatives, with a focus on scalability, compliance, and risk management. Define, monitor, and enforce security architecture governance processes to ensure that security standards and controls are met across the enterprise. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in information security architecture, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, managing and mentoring security architects or technical teams. Strong background in designing and implementing security architectures across complex enterprise environments, including cloud, infrastructure, and application security. Extensive experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, and Cloud Security Alliance (CCM). Extensive experience working with senior leadership and stakeholders to drive strategic security initiatives, influencing decisions at the enterprise level. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior management, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver secure solutions that align with business objectives. Degree in a technology discipline (Computer Science, Information Management, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent) Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, SABSA, or equivalent.
