**Security Guard - Screener**
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Location: Vance, AL
Shift details: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM, or 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, or 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time & work outside in the elements.
Must have 1+ years of security Experience
Must have a valid driver license
We provide ALL training and uniforms

**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Screener. The Security Screener will work with highly intelligent x-ray software to inspect items, determine whether items contain objects that warrant further investigation, and alert baggage screeners or handlers to any possible problems.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Inspect items, using x-ray viewing equipment, to determine whether items contain objects that warrant further investigation
+ View images of bags and cargo, using remote screening equipment, and alert baggage screeners or handlers to any possible problems
+ Communicate situation details to appropriate personnel
+ Notify supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur
+ Communicate situation details to appropriate personnel
+ Send items through automated screening machines, and set bags aside for searching or rescreening as indicated by equipment
+ Inspect to identify potential hazards
+ Record information about any baggage that sets off alarms in monitoring equipment

DPS owns enterprise-wide screening, and enables Amazon to comply with regulations as well as understand and manage sanctions risk. The Senior Assurance Manager will lead a team of experienced risk managers responsible for oversight of the DPS screening program, ensuring that systems and controls are operating effectively.

You are an effective project manager that plans and conducts assurance assessment and testing from beginning to end, while also overseeing and guiding the work of your team. You will be responsible for prioritizing findings and recommendations in line with our corporate strategy and regulations. You should be able to facilitate multiple stakeholders to agree on appropriate solutions and verify that risks are mitigated appropriately. You will also provide subject matter expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams on sanctions compliance obligations and risk mitigation strategies. Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Assurance Manager, you will:
- Lead a team of experience risk managers, overseeing the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of assurance activities based on identified compliance risks impacting various Amazon businesses.
- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive sanctions compliance assurance program.
- Design and implement robust testing frameworks to validate the effectiveness of sanctions screening processes, procedures, and controls.
- Analyze and perform deep dives of sanctions-related data to assess control effectiveness and detect potential control gaps.
- Partner closely with the stakeholders, legal, and business teams to identify risks and gaps and drive remediation actions.
- Define and improve processes, tools, and drive automation to support end-to-end assurance program.
- Provide consultative support to business partners to identify opportunities for control improvements with the objective of mitigating risk and improving compliance and operational performance.
- Use excellent writing skills to succinctly communicate complicated issues, risks and remediation efforts. You will prepare reports, make presentations to senior level management to improve controls with the objective of mitigating compliance risks.
- Work independently and remain flexible, with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain a resilient attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Relevant certifications (CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CAMS, CGSS etc.)
- Experience with assessing IT controls and/or compliance program in ambiguous environments and complex IT architecture
- Experience with SQL and data analytics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $198,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
