Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience in insurance solutions sales, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding targets in dynamic, remote environments.

  • Manage a consultative sales process to successfully close new business opportunities involving the sale of the VISC suite of products and services (Including but not limited to Claims Analytics and ClaimSearch solutions).
  • Understand and effectively work with complex decision-making processes within the customer organization and successfully manage the necessary consensus building bringing about successful conclusions.
  • Maintain positive relationships and help to ensure the satisfaction of existing clients for the purpose of maintaining or growing their revenue base with ISO.
  • Participate in the research, design and implementation of new products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Properly and accurately maintain sales pipeline revenue forecasts and keep CRM systems current with this information
  • Must have 5+ years in a complex sales environment, preferably selling claims solutions and services to leading insurers/ TPAs/and states/ municipalities
  • Knowledge of VISC Insurance products, solutions, & services is desirable; alternatively, a strong knowledge of the insurance industry, solutions, contacts, along with revenue cycle operations required.
  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must have the ability to develop and execute tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
  • Must be able to handle multiple complex tasks or projects simultaneously: prioritize & organize, and to take the lead when required by the situation.
  • Must possess outstanding listening skills and be able to read and adapt to people with different organizational levels and functional responsibilities.
  • Understands how to work with senior level management.
  • Must have a proven track record in a consultative sales environment; has consistently met and/or exceeds assigned sales objectives
  • Must have experience working closely with operations teams and to assist and facilitate onboarding, implementations and account management relationship building.
  • Must be able to travel (up to 75%) and to work independently as a remote employee with minimal amount of supervision.

Main Accountabilities

Account Management

  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with the assigned account(s) and act as a liaison between the CSC, the airline and the Key Account Manager
  • Ensure accurate billing and provisioning to the airline
  • Maintain daily par levels and inventory control in accordance with customer standards
  • Ensure equipment inventory is taken in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure the on time departure of all flights using catering guidelines
  • Support the respective departments regarding all airline cycle changes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with customer specifications and equipment, policies and procedures (Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) etc.) in cooperation with the responsible Quality Manager
  • Maintain customer specifications and monitor changes
  • Ensure that the airlines measurement system is taken into account in each department
  • Coordinate and participate in all CSC evaluations by the customer. Distribute evaluation feedback to department Managers and ensure response is provided in a timely manner
  • Monitor and ensure CSC compliance with the airlines safety expectations
  • Develop, document and maintain flight attendant comment and delay database
  • Support the Executive chef in menu presentations as needed. Assist in Chef tables
  • Track quality scores
  • Ensure par levels of customer inventory and customer specific goods
  • Participate in special customer projects

Leadership

  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed
  • Guide, motivate and develop the subordinate employees within the Human Resources Policy
  • Participates in coaching the expanded Global Performance System (GPS) process, as well as additional career development activities to enhance the effectiveness and potential of the team
  • Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)
  • Plan / Implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
  • Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Global Quality Standard (GQS), HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer service, or client-facing roles
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

Lead by Example with Personal Sales: Lead by example in developing new business for local clients, prospecting, showcasing innovative solutions, and demonstrating the ability to increase local revenue through personal sales.

Lead, Motivate and Coach: Co-lead weekly sales meetings and one-on-ones providing coaching, brainstorming, and support building custom marketing proposals for our customers.

Hit the Streets: Join the Media Strategists as needed to help the sales process move forward. Assist with quality Client Needs Analyses, presenting marketing strategies, and/or closing.

Maintain Accountability: Assist with monitoring sales performance, identifying seller growth opportunities, and implementing corrective measures as necessary both orally and written.

Maintain & Grow Market Relationships: Leverage deep connections and established relationships within the New York City market to drive business growth and partnerships. Engage with local clients and staff to strategically develop long lasting relationships. Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.

Maintain Product Expertise & Recommend Client Growth Opportunities : Develop a keen understanding of Salem’s suite of audio and digital products, regularly seek opportunities for further training, in order to lead by example and provide on–going recommendations to Media Strategists and clients.

Demonstrate Strong Organization & Reporting: Help maintain prospecting lists and verticals. Maintain thorough ongoing reporting as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the New York radio and digital media industry.
• Must reside in New York market.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and coach teams towards success.
• Creativity and skills to generate and present compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Working knowledge of digital advertising tactics and strategies, including Google Analytics, Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC), Targeted Display Advertising, Web Site Optimization, SEO, Social Media Advertising, Email Marketing, OTT, Programmatic, and Multimedia Sales.
• Self-motivation, independence and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
