BASIC PURPOSE
Owns assigned customer relationships and drives sales growth, item and category penetration and profitability of those relationships. Coordinates and leads efforts of the Customer Service Representative and Account Coordinator as a unified sales team to ensure optimal account service and alignment with the customer's contract. This position is characterized by a sustained record of sales achievement and complete knowledge of the organization's policies, products and services.
**Territory will be Fort Worth & surrounding area**
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up on a systematic basis. Travel required; anticipated field time at least four days per week.
Responsible for achieving annual sales plan through growth and penetration of existing accounts.
Present new ideas and products from primary vendors and exclusive brand products to secure account penetration and loyalty. Manage product mix to maximize profit goals and contract compliance.
Communicate with customers to apprise them of mutual performance, new products, programs and market trends both informally as needed and through periodic, formal Business Reviews.
Ultimately responsible for results of sales team (Account Coordinator and Customer Service Representatives) actions relative to assigned accounts. Lead sales team accordingly to:
- Ensure optimum service to accounts including coordination with operational and purchasing functions, as needed.
- Maximize AE time spent with customers.
- Meet or exceed accounts receivable currency targets including coordinating with central AR as needed.
- Review all accounts to ensure program compliance, develop unique sales approach, identify needs, and expand sales.
- Maintain a profile on all accounts to include order guides, statements periodicals and overall reporting. Verify pricing information to ensure correctness.
Attend Sales Meetings, Training Sessions, Food Shows, and Conferences as deemed necessary by Management and Customer requirements.
Set-up and support rollout of new accounts as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
Related Experience: A minimum of three years of sales or distribution experience required (foodservice industry or related preferred). Experience in restaurant operations desirable. Experience using quantitative & qualitative research data will be helpful.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities. Should also have demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel required.
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Account Manager is responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services in an assigned territory. Additionally, the Account Manager is required to increase the level of penetration in his or her existing customer base by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
+ Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company's available services, lines of business, pricing structures, and offers additional services as appropriate to assigned existing customers.
+ Performs contractual re-signs on existing customers to extend customer relationship and increase customer profitability where appropriate.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience and a track record of exceeding quotas

As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility is generating admissions and growing patient census in a designated territory. **Your Impact**
The primary purpose of this role is to drive sales for Lowe's largest regional pro customers at a faster rate than the general populace of Lowe's pro customers. + Drive Pro sales for assigned and Prospect portfolio of customers by conducting market research, cold calling, following through on lead generation, meeting with clients/customers on a regular basis in their place of business, jobsites and tradeshows
+ Schedule regular visits to worksites to determine to identify if additional product is needed, take order, work with store to fulfill the order.
+ During customer meetings negotiate pricing and contract terms in order to close sales.
+ Conducts district research of pro customer opportunities to find the highest opportunity customers to pursue.
+ Works with assigned accounts and pulls together all relevant information to create an effective strategy to deploy for their assigned accounts.
+ Works cross-functionally with District Managers and Store Managers to bring the services and products needed to increase pro sales, with each of the SAMs customers.
+ Meets the highest purchasing decision makers to conduct supplier annual reviews, coordinate and lead quarterly and annual planning and production meetings, hold vendor specific trade shows, board of director vendor approval meetings, etc.
+ Conducts 12-15 sales calls each week to review products, production schedules, planning schedules, delivery timing and new product introductions; ensuring these sales calls are scheduled 1-2 weeks in advance.
+ Applies a consultative selling strategy to understand the needs of the customer and apply a proactive selling approach when scheduling on-going follow-ups with sales opportunities.
+ Builds strong working relationships with District Managers, Store Managers, Regional Vice Presidents.
+ Uses all relevant selling tools, selling programs and fulfillment channels to bring the most effective solutions that will most benefit their pro customer.
+ Updates District Manager on a weekly basis in regards to sales and customer opportunities, wins and sales performance, including yearly planned sales.
