Job Description

As a **Senior Director Strategic Planning** here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving Honeywell's strategic initiatives and long-term growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting market research and analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will impact strategic direction, alignment, execution, performance monitoring, risk management, long-term sustainability, performance improvement, employee development, and competitive advantage of HPS in Mining, Minerals, Power, Utilities, Sheet Manufacturing and Gigafactory markets. You will play a critical role in ensuring that strategic plans are not only formulated but effectively implemented to drive the organization's success and long-term growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Strategic Planning**
+ Lead Annual Strategic Planning Process for assigned segment.
+ constructively challenge the organization to refine its "where to play" and "how to win" choices to drive growth, improve profitability and sustain competitive advantage.
+ support execution of strategic goals through Honeywell's management operating systems (HOS Gold).
+ Develop strategic growth and business development plans with a fact-based approach to competitive analysis, customer segmentation, market attractiveness and product positioning, financial analysis, external and execution risks, potential impact and scenario planning, resource requirements, and regional and global pricing guidelines.
Driving growth in the core process segment (focusing on Mining, Minerals, Power, Utilities, Sheet Manufacturing and Gigafactory) markets is central to Honeywell's strategy. Identify growth and competitive advantage opportunities by:
+ Identify technology trends including Break Through Technology Initiatives (BTI) for net-new opportunities for Honeywell
+ Identify portfolio integration and expansion opportunities
+ business model evolution (channels and strategic partnerships)
+ consumer experience value chain and/or related strategic marketing levers.
**Competitive Analysis**
+ Assess the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential competitors to identify opportunities and threats in every global markets
+ Develop a consolidated view of the market environment and competitive structures to help formulate global growth strategies that deliver quantifiable results.
**Partner with Corporate Development team to:**
+ focus on analytics and insights in aligning Honeywell strategies with investment and operational plans.
+ identify and cultivate potential M&A candidates. Provide assessment and thought leadership on the strategic rationale, synergy potential and key risks to enable the executive team to make well-informed inorganic investment decisions.
+ participate in identifying potential business development opportunities as well as support Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS Gold) with respective business unit counterparts

**Director, Strategic Partnerships & Planning**
This role reports into an executive leader at Anywhere Integrated Services. Our team is focused on designing and building out Anywhere's new business line under a new brand, Upward Title & Closing. This business line will consist of joint ventures between Anywhere Integrated Services' wholly owned title and closing companies and participating Anywhere Brands real estate affiliates.
This role will be responsible for supporting Upward's go to market roadmap; and leading the collaboration with partners and leadership to build a high-impact business plan for each new company. We are looking for a passionate and experienced strategist who will help to own both external partnerships and financial modeling for our suite of companies.
Successful individuals in this role can plan on earning a competitive base salary and variable compensation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner Management - Support ownerships of broker-owner relationships, input, and questions from Anywhere franchisees during the 3-6 month implementation phase. Own relationships with partners post-launch and develop a programmatic approach for ongoing partner success.
- Company Financial Planning: Support the build of high-impact roadmap and viable joint venture entities, including: identifying viable geographies for additional affiliate outreach, working with finance to build pro-formas, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners on office footprint, staffing, and implementation decisions
- Leadership & Communications - Serve a key communicator and program owner during the 3-5 month implementation phase. Set a precedent for thoughtful listening and iteration. Ensure launch progress and key decisions are clearly and enthusiastically communicated to internal stakeholders, including leaders in operations, legal, finance, marketing, and Anywhere brand partners.
- Thoughtful Implementation - Collaborate with internal teams to own and iterate on the workplan and ensure all launch processes are efficient and impact-oriented. Think outside the box on how things should (or could) be done.
**Minimum Requirements:**
- 5+ years of experience in strategic or partnership management functions; no real estate or industry experience required.
- Experience in working closely with external partners (clients, partners, etc) to build and communicate business strategies and plans. Expertise in pitching a plus.
- High degree of confidence working with financial models and partnering with finance stakeholders
- Expert in program management and ownership, including data-driven iteration on the value proposition, processes, and communications of a complex program/offering.
- Proven experience in leadership level communications and presentations; experience in managing external partners a plus.
- Stellar communication and presentation skills
- Superb time management skills and a strong sense of ownership for outcomes
