ABOUT THE POSITION

Fairchild Equipment, one of the premier material handling dealerships in the Midwest, has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is driven to achieve results as a Business Development Representative out of our office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This position will work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to ensure coordination, effective engagement and high-quality execution of lead generation and marketing initiatives. The Business Development Representative will report to the Marketing Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages, nurtures and tracks daily sales leads generated by our marketing efforts.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Build, configure, and maintain Epic Beaker (CP and/or AP) to support laboratory workflows.
+ Collaborate with pathologists, lab technologists, and clinicians to gather requirements and optimize system functionality.
+ Support integration of Beaker with laboratory instruments, middleware, and other Epic applications.
+ Troubleshoot issues, perform system maintenance, and provide end-user support.
+ Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and validation activities.
+ Develop documentation, workflows, and training materials for clinical and IT staff.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, etc.).
+ Partner with project managers to deliver Epic-related initiatives on time and within scope.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in information systems, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field of experience OR Undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience supporting Epic or other LIS systems in a healthcare environment
+ Epic Beaker Certification: Clinical Pathology and Anatomic Pathology
+ 2+ years of experience in clinical laboratory workflows and compliance requirements
+ Advanced level of proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in Beaker AP
+ Experience with instrument and middleware integration such as Safetrace, Data Innovations, RALS and ISTAT
+ Applicants should be comfortable with CP, AP, Rules, and Instrument Configuration
+ Clinical Lab experience as a medical technologist or CA CLS (Clinical Lab Scientist) is very helpful and strongly preferred
+ Prior involvement in Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects
+ Additional Epic certifications (e.g., Bridges, Orders, Ambulatory, Inpatient)
