Role Description
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist is a core member of the Marketing team responsible for executing and optimizing digital campaigns that support Jewett Construction's mission of creating positive experiences and lasting impressions. This role focuses on managing HubSpot email journeys, social media, website updates, SEO, GA4 analytics, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is data-driven, collaborative, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of digital tools and trends.
Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, managing marketing automation and customer journeys through HubSpot, supporting the digital and print marketing efforts of the Marketing team, and leading social media efforts with a strong focus on LinkedIn. The ideal candidate is analytical, adaptable, and collaborative, with hands-on experience in digital tools and tactics that drive measurable business results.
General Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Plan, implement, and monitor integrated digital campaigns across paid and organic channels.
Research market trends, audience behavior, and competitive activity to inform strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure campaign alignment.
HubSpot & Marketing Automation
Own the marketing automation process in HubSpot, including segmentation, workflows, lead scoring, and
database hygiene.
Create, manage, and optimize email campaigns, nurture workflows, and contact journeys.
Regularly conduct list imports and maintain CRM compliance with data protection best practices.
Partner with the sales team to align lead generation, handoff processes, and ongoing quality feedback.
Social Media Management
Manage and grow the company's presence on social platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn.
Create and schedule engaging content that reflects brand voice and campaign objectives.
Monitor engagement, respond to interactions, and report on platform performance.
Website & SEO
Maintain and update website content and design to ensure a modern and user-friendly experience.
Optimize site architecture and on-page content in accordance with SEO best practices.
Track and analyze web performance using Google Analytics 4 and other tools.
Performance Reporting & Optimization
Build and maintain custom dashboards to monitor digital performance and share key metrics.
Analyze KPIs such as CTR, conversions, engagement, and ROI to inform future efforts.
Conduct A/B tests, optimize landing pages and email performance, and continuously improve campaign results.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with the Marketing Director, Creative Manager, and sales team to support marketing and brand initiatives.
Assist in the creation of sales enablement materials (email templates, digital assets, etc.) to support the customer journey.
Experiment with new demand generation tactics, including niche and geographically targeted campaigns.
Uphold brand consistency and ensure compliance with Jewett's Branding and Design Guidelines.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
2-4 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role
Hands-on experience and proven success with HubSpot marketing automation and CRM
HubSpot Inbound Certified (or equivalent) preferred
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Strong knowledge of SEO, paid digital media, and email marketing best practices
Experience using tools such as GA4, Google Ads, SEMrush, or similar
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, adaptability, and a passion for learning
Strong project management and organizational skills
Basic familiarity with or willingness to learn light cybersecurity practices in collaboration with IT partners
