Job Requirements

Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor degree in engineering (Aeronautical or Mechanical) or A&P license with 5 years of experience minimum working on turboshaft engines.

• Two to five years of related experience in the field of Aeronautical Maintenance or Engineering

• Intermediate Level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and experience with Power BI.

• Knowledge of professional practices, sources of information, and rules and regulations that must be interpreted, adapted, and applied to the unique requirements of the organization.

• Knowledge of turboshaft engines for aerospace

• Experience working on Safran powered aircraft preferred

• Basic understanding of French language is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

What you will do

As a Service Engineer, you will:

Conduct preventive maintenance activities for Tetra Pak packaging and processing equipment in line with Tetra Pak standard global procedures. Reinstate Tetra Pak packaging and processing equipment into the production environments according to defined expectations. Execute installation tasks, including the assembly of complete Tetra Pak systems. Execute the installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures. Execute timely reporting of all discovered technical issues. Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service. Inform management about any business opportunities discovered at the customer site. Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customers and ensuring that Tetra Pak's reputation is sustained. Execute and complete all relevant technical reports in an accurate and timely way. Distribute technical reports according to existing procedures and ensure that proper handover is done. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and customer safety regulations and requirements, including Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issues. Conduct on-site/off-site Operator and Mechanical training for internal Tetra Pak and customer personnel. Maintain an issue resolution database and perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services onsite and by phone. Install set-up and support through remote support when off-site. Conduct regular time entry, service reporting and e-mail correspondence. Provide emergency phone support and on-demand service for a 24-hour support line on a rotational basis.

We believe you have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any field), Technology Management, Information Technology, Dairy Science, or related, and 3 years of relevant experience.

Must have work experience in:

1. Low and high voltage electrical equipment ranging from 24 to 600 volts, including power supplies, motors, various sensors and actuators, and control systems;
2. Basic Allen Bradley automation knowledge and connecting to various PLCs, inverters, and servos using Allen Bradley software including RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, and RS Logix Studio;
3. Troubleshooting and rebuilding various mechanical systems including mechanical seals, bearings, bushings, power transmission (chains and belts), cams, tie rods, pneumatic cylinders, pumps, and valves;
4. Providing customer trainings on modern automated industrial food processing equipment; and
5. Reading and understanding electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): 104,874 USD to 119,792 USD per year.

JOB TITLE : Service Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :

Perform engineering tasks as required to ensure proper system operability and completion of assigned projects or work orders in a timely manner. Typical tasks are; as built documentation, wiring diagrams, programming, graphic creations, onsite big picture and limited troubleshooting. Provide remote troubleshooting support for customers as required. This is a exempt salaried position (no overtime).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
• Maintain Hoffman standard engineering practices
• Maintain industry technical knowledge
• Engineering/Programming as required
• Onsite Big Picture Tasks as required
• Limited travel as required
• Remote troubleshooting support as required
• Provide Consistent and Clear Communications and Mentoring as required (Supervisor, Service Coordinator, Account Manager, Project Manager, Technicians and Customers)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
• Knowledge of HVAC DDC Control Theory & Applications
• Proficient with Alerton/Tridium Programming
• Experience with electronics and electrical circuits
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Computer hardware and software skills
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Strong communications and interactive skills

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE :
• AA degree in applied technology (preferred)

Position Summary

Crow Holdings seeks a Service Engineer to provide technical support to all business units. An ideal candidate is expected to be proficient with current systems and demonstrate the initiative to learn new technologies as they become available.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide great customer service and demonstrate professionalism when working with end-users
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop/system support for regional offices located on the west coast
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop/system remote support for users in other offices around the country
  • Deploy user computers
  • Install, configure and update operating systems
  • Configure and manage printers
  • Support Cisco desk phones, voicemail and mobile device connectivity
  • Install, configure and support various business applications, including antivirus and security
  • Log incidents and resolutions in the IT Service Management software
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience. Microsoft and Technology Certifications are a strong plus
  • 2+ years of experience with desktop and end user support
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Windows operating systems, including installation and configuration of hardware and software for laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • MS Windows 10 required
    • Applications: MS-Office (Recent Versions), Office 365, Adobe PDF
    • Active Directory: Computers and Users (User management & PW procedures)
    • Terminal Services/Remote Access: Citrix/MS-RDS
    • Antivirus software
    • Mobile Devices: iPhone/iPad/MS-Surface
  • Familiarity with network technologies is a strong plus
  • Polished, professional presence with excellent communication and customer service skills
