**Job Responsibilities**
Calls on customers as assigned by Service Manager or General Manager to investigate operating difficulties of equipment. Diagnoses problems and figures out reasons and the nature of correction.
Makes repairs or adjustments to equipment to return the equipment in working order.
Cleans and maintains equipment on location including exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers.
Documentation including verification of the closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification and any required customer documentation
Repairs and refurbishes equipment; maintain spare parts levels.
Ability to accurately collect work completed in company provided mobile device.
Maintains a good working relationship and liaison with customers to maintain a positive image of the company and product.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.
Maintains service area and vehicle in a clean and organized condition. Follows company guidelines on safety and operates vehicle in a safe manner.
Completes weekly Driver Report and follows guidelines in the Fleet Manual.
Follows all safety standards and policies set by manufacturers and company.

**Qualifications**
High School Diploma or GED required
Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
Must be willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add additional lines and drainage when vital.
Must be willing to learn how to work with copper, braided and pex lines. This skill is normally developed through six months to one year of experience in the equipment service operations or through vocational training.
The ability to read and write in English is required.
Must also possess effective communication and customer service skills.
Incumbent must have an acceptable driving record and a qualified driver?s license.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This position is open due to the new Campaign for these monitors to be installed in Illinois. They provide CO2 gas to restaurants, gas stations and various other clients. This position will be installing monitors directly to the systems. Very simple install using CAT 5 cabling (cables used in the back of a work phone).
They will keep track of serial numbers of all customer tickets and monitors. They must be organized and have some people skills as they will be speaking to customers face to face daily. Candidates must be able to climb a ladder, use power tools and service existing systems
This will be a service based role. They would like someone to come to the shop in Lemont and then perform multiple stops per day. Will be required to drive their own car and do need hand tools, power tools, ladder, drill, impact set, etc. Drill bits and specialty tools will be provided by client

**MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS**
**Education & Experience**
+ AS degree in electronics or equivalent High School education with related training/experience
+ Trade school or field experience working on heavy equipment. Hydraulics, electronics etc.
+ Comfortable around heavy construction equipment.
+ Specific MC installation experience would be ideal.
**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**
+ Mechanically inclined. Familiar 12volt and 24 volt power on Heavy equipment. Welding experience, Heavy equipment operation. Familiar with electro mechanical circuitry.
+ Prior experience working on cars and other similar things is helpful. In general the person shall be comfortable around hydraulics, Electronics, Diesel etc.
+ Electronics experience desired.
**Physical Requirements**
Must be physically capable of climbing onto large equipment. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
**Working Conditions**
Willing to travel. 60% of the time installs will be outside in the rain, cold, heat.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams

Mechanical experience with gear reducers and drive systems a plus

Prior transportation installation and repair experience preferred

Frequent travel within a 4-hour radius required.

Occasional overnight travel outside of the region may be required.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Pay Range: $35 - $40 per hour based on experience, skills and qualifications. **Job Description**
Are you mechanically and electrically inclined? Do you like providing customers with quality service solutions? Join our team and become a part of the leading nationwide provider of commercial food equipment service!
+ You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration.
+ You will typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
+ You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
**Qualifications**
**What you'll bring to the table:**
+ An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 0-2 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience
+ You must have a valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
+ You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required
+ You must be able to attend our industry leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee may:
+ Lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance
+ Climb up to 10 ft with an A-frame ladder
+ Occasional roof access may be necessary through extension ladders or fixed ladders greater than 20 feet
+ Extensive walking 3-5 miles / day
+ Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
+ Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull
+ Move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
+ Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
+ Operate machinery and/or power tools
Working Conditions
+ Office facility and customer facilities (including commercial kitchens of various types of businesses)
+ Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet dirty conditions may occur
+ Travel requirement up to 50% of time
Hours of Work
+ Normal business hours with occasional/frequent/extended hours as needed
+ Flexibility with schedule to meet critical deadlines
+ Extended hours may include nights and/or weekends
+ Normal scheduled hours cover early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
