Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Acute attention to detail is required for accurate order fulfillment and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret packing slips, orders, and shipping labels.
- Requires lifting parts and boxes weighing up to 50lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

+ Read factory work orders and various shipping and/or receiving papers to learn customer requirements and processing information
+ Monitor conveyor take off lines, removing units from the lines, and loading units into trailers and/or placing units in storage areas

+ Utilize picking sheets and vehicle inventory adjustment forms (VIAF) to determine bin location, quantities requested and to identify the correct customer order.
+ Verify all items picked are correct by confirming part numbers, product descriptions, and quantities by following the same information on the sheet and/or VIAF.
+ Prepare orders for shipment.
+ Select appropriate shipping carton and securely pack to minimize damage during shipment.
+ Maintain assigned aisle and product stacks.
+ Remove all empty boxes, strapping, plastic, debris, etc.
+ Sweep assigned aisle daily.
+ Follow Current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP).
+ Perform other duties as described by leadership.

+ High school education and/or GED equivalent.
+ Must be 16 years of age or older.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate machinery.
+ At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
+ Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
+ Ability to work well with others in the workplace.
+ Must be detail-orientated.
+ Capacity to follow directions by leadership.
+ Ability to stand throughout an 8-hour shift.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Forklift Operator position is responsible for all activities associated with the movement and handling of materials related to the yard/shipping and warehouse department but not to exclude the production department. Responsible for computer system update transactions which account for all physical movement, consumption, and production of inventory. Responsible for physical counts of designated inventory items cycle counts as defined and instructed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the moving and storage of finished goods and raw materials, as well as loading product per customer orders on to trucks
- Remove finished goods and raw materials from or to production lines and locations in the warehouse
- Assist in shipping, receiving as needed
- Safely operate all material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet movers
- Must maintain yard in an organized and neat manner with good skids, legible labels and banded and wrapped skids
- Scan and move finished goods one pallet at a time from Inbound location to specified zones in Yard location. No yard storage in the designated staging areas by the dock
- Skids stored in yard must be neatly and safely stacked with enough space between rows to enable label visibility for cycle counting and product identification. Like items must be consolidated every day
- Move pallets quickly and efficiently within the yard
- Good understanding of forklift/pallet mover operation and all safety procedures
- Good understanding of material handling within a yard/shipping and warehouse
- Equipment emergency stops
- Obtain and maintain forklift operator certification
- Proper handling and inspection of forklifts
- Must understand and follow all departmental safety rules
- Proper use of all safety equipment: safety glasses, safety shoes, reflective vest/uniform
- Understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- ISO sections pertaining to the position
- Sit down forklift
- Hand tools, power tools, pallet strapping equipment
- Scanners
- Box cutters
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Have at least one year of experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility
- Have at least one year of forklift experience and forklift certification
- Logistics or supply chain background preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capacity to work overtime as needed
- Required to perform job duties in all weather conditions
- Good vision (this can be accomplished with corrective lenses), central and peripheral vision in both eyes to detect objects or movement in the field of view.
