Job Description Summary:
The People Concern is partnered with the Office of Diversion and Re-entry (ODR) to provide housing and Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) to individuals with a history in the criminal justice system and through ODR, are receiving ongoing case management services to obtain and maintain permanent supportive housing in the community.
The Assistant Director of Project-Based Housing, ODR will support the Director of Project-Based Housing, ODR and Senior Director in overseeing designated ODR Project-based Housing sites, employees, and clients throughout Los Angeles County. This includes assistance with client crisis management, coordination of services and administrative duties.
Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop effective, trusting relationships with clients using a client-centered approach that includes motivational interviewing and harm reduction.
- Provide clinical consultation to staff working with complex clinical situations and suggest appropriate clinical interventions.
- Daily coordination and oversight of program operations and program activities.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff working towards licensure.
- Provide leadership to staff to ensure integration of client care with Property Management and Developer for all Project-based Housing sites.
- Work with Brilliant Corners to address policy or client related advocacy.
- Develop awareness of funder expectations and respond to funders with appropriate communication and coordination of services.
- Assist Program Management staff in recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct service staff.
- In partnership with the Director of Project-based Housing, provide leadership and supervision to housing department Project-based Housing Program Managers.
- Ensure that data is being entered into the DHS database (CHAMP) in a timely manner. Ensure data accuracy for reporting requirements' outcomes.
- Monitor that staff are providing appropriate level of service and that progress notes are being completed in a timely manner.
- Organize documentation for housing applications (Brilliant Corners).
- Ensure intake and psychosocial assessment are completed for all referrals within timeline listed in ODR ICMS work order.
- Monitor that CHAMP assessments are being updated quarterly.
- Participate in and support leadership of case conference, staff meetings, trainings, and retreats.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times and ensure to follow agency, state and HIPAA laws.
- Provide direct support with client crisis intervention including writing 51/50 applications, when appropriate.
- Follow up on client grievances working towards appropriate resolution for clients and staff.
- Attend Quality Assurance meetings.
- Provide death and dying debriefing with staff, when directed.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Job Description Qualifications:
- Masters' degree in mental health field (Social Work, MFT, or Psychology).
- Active clinical License and good standing with California Board of Behavioral Sciences for over 2 years.
- Extensive experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
- Able to work in a high tolerance Harm Reduction model with Members who have multiple barriers.
- Extensive knowledge of local and federal government benefits and entitlements.
- Highly detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Computer literate; able to effectively use computerized database for client file management, with basic skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel programs.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team building skills.

Job Description Summary:

- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Bachelors-level and/or Masters-level Clinical Case Managers and Support Specialists.

- Assist in the screening, assessment, and enrollment of clients, including orientation to program policies, resources, and goals.
- Ensure case management staff are linking clients to appropriate services and utilizing a "Whatever It Takes" approach. Case Managers will provide assistance with locating and securing housing, connection to community resources, government and state benefits, medical, mental health and substance use services.
- Provide support and containment to team in the event of client death and/or traumatic incident. Coordinate or provide debriefing when appropriate.
- Adapt workload as directed by supervisor in response to funder expectations.

Job Description Qualifications:
- MSW, MFT, LPCC or PsyD who is registered with CA BBS (supervision hours are available for this position).
- Licensed preferred, but must be license eligible.
- Minimum of two years' full-time experience working with the homeless, preferably those living with mental illness and/or substance addictions.
- Able to provide direct supervision and management of assigned staff.
- Detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and team building skills.
- Able to work in a high tolerance Harm Reduction model with clients who have multiple barriers.
- Able to learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and minimal supervision.
- Self-starter with the ability to stay ahead of the curve and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Current, valid Driver's with an acceptable driving record.

The Role
BuzzFeed is looking for a Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) to work with Post Production for efficient media backup and transfer. Responsibilities include testing camera settings, managing footage, maintaining data integrity, tagging metadata, quality control, generating proxies and dailies, and producing reports. The DIT will also handle on-set materials and backup media, diagnose technical issues, and assist with equipment logistics at filming locations and the BuzzFeed Office in LA.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Post Production Management & DP to establish a data management plan, including media backup and transfer procedures
- Conduct testing to determine optimal camera settings and workflows
- Ingest (using ingest software), organize, and back up footage ensuring data integrity
- Tag footage with appropriate metadata
- Ensure quality control of footage and media being ingested
- Generate proxies and dailies per specification for daily delivery
- Create DIT Log/Reports per specification
- Collect all on-set materials such as script notes, BTS footage, stills, offload reports, LUTs, etc for upload and delivery
- Ensure two copies of all media are constantly maintained and offloaded to backup servers
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and pose solutions
- Assist with Post Equipment Pickup/Drop Offs or Runs, delivering to producers and editors from the office
- Work on-set of filming location and/or BuzzFeed Office in LA
- Deep understanding of digital camera systems, image processing, and data management
- 3+ years experience DIT or equivalent media management in a professional environment
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Advanced knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro (preferred NLE), Media Encoder, & DaVinci Resolve
- Extensive experience utilizing ingest software like Offshoot or Shotput Pro
- Meticulous attention to detail for data management and quality control
- Must be able to effectively communicate between DP, camera team, and Post Production
- Familiarity working with common video codecs, formats & timecode formats
- Ability to adapt to changing workflows and new technologies
- Must be able to effectively deliver on the expected deadlines
- Experience with delivering for HD short dramas and vertical stories a plus

The LVN will assume responsibility for addressing medication and health issues in the program and ensure that high quality nursing services is provided. These service include medication management, medical assessment, and follow up regarding medical appointments.
Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide medical case management/medication management to individuals including but not limited to medication monitoring, patient teaching, and supportive services to increase compliance with medication regimens.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, integrated care to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness and substance addiction
- Provide basic nursing services as needed, including injections, to clients residing in permanent supportive housing.
- Remain current in knowledge of Medi-Cal benefits and healthcare systems navigation, which includes ability to enroll client's in Med-Cal.
- Coordinate PCP appointments or other medical follow up appointments.
- Along with Program Manager, maintain medication logs for clients receiving psychiatry services from The People Concern.
- Coordinate with pharmacy to ensure client medication is delivered on time.
- Document and chart all services provided in appropriate charting form with accuracy and in real time.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external programs on behalf of clients to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide crisis intervention assistance when needed.
- Triage to appropriate community agency in an emergency (i.e., police, paramedics, fire department).
- Maintain open communication with direct supervisor and leadership team.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and weekly individual supervision.
- Ensure that medical services are reflective of the agency's treatment model, which emphasizes member choice, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and psycho-social rehabilitation.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times per HIPAA and all applicable guidelines.
- Adapt workload as directed by supervisor in response to funder expectations.

Job Description Qualifications:
- Current, California license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse with a clear license.
- Minimum one years' experience working with individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, mental health, and substance abuse issues
- Able to physically lift, move, and position members as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database applications.
- Detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Valid CA Driver's license, reliable car, auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- Able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
