Key Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting drawings and instructions

Using basic manual and power hand tools such as wire cutters, wrenches, corded and cordless drills, tape measure
Qualifications:

Job Description
We are seeking skilled professionals to perform advanced fabrication techniques in creating custom signage products. This role involves both shop and fieldwork, including outdoor installations, and will require expertise in welding, electrical work, and the operation of fabrication machinery.
Responsibilities
-
Utilize advanced fabrication techniques to build various types of signage, including channel letters, monument signs, pylons, wayfinding, and illuminated signs.
-
Operate routers, saws, brakes, and other fabrication machinery efficiently.
-
Perform metal and plastic fabrication, including cutting, bending, and welding.
-
Assemble and install LED lighting systems and other electrical components.
-
Layout and coordinate plans for fabrication procedures.
-
Construct templates and jigs to ensure accurate fabrication techniques.
-
Execute grinding, cutting, wiring, drilling, welding, and countersinking of sheet metal, primarily aluminum, ranging from .06 to .5 inches.
-
Ensure proper finishing techniques, including painting, laminating, and vinyl application.
Essential Skills
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sign fabrication or a related field.
-
Proficiency in metalworking, MIG/TIG welding, and electrical wiring.
-
Strong knowledge of materials such as aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel, and other precious metals.
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
-
Familiarity with UL certification standards for illuminated signs.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in fabrication, blueprint reading, and understanding tolerance ranges from .06 to .5 inches.

Preferred experience in the signage or display industry, but candidates with custom metal fabrication backgrounds will also be considered.
