Gathers and carries containers from convenience site customers and dumps refuse from containers into appropriate bins.
Gathers separated recycling materials and dumps them into appropriate recycling bins at the convenience site.
Assists in loading, unloading and cleaning garbage truck at the convenience site as necessary.
Starts hoisting device that raises refuse bin attached to rear of truck as necessary.
Performs other duties as directed at the convenience site.

+ Support and hold employees and contractors accountable for the AEP System Safety Process, ensuring a safe working environment focused on Zero Harm; inspect work to monitor and ensure safety and environmental policies are being followed and that projects are being constructed per the specifications, drawings and permits.
+ Coordinate with project management and engineering & design groups to ensure the appropriate drawings are issued and available to support construction activities.
+ Develops partnerships / relationships with AEP generation, trade union labor, contractors, vendors, suppliers and government agencies. Lead and oversee the development of a site-specific quantity tracking sheet to be used for tracking costs, schedule and invoicing. Provide training and guidance to others to support team goals. **What we're looking for:**

As a Site Construction Surveyor, you will perform construction stakeout, topography, as-built, and control surveys for various site features. The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.

Requirements

  • Responsible for all job site scheduling; equipment, manpower, subcontractors, etc.
  • Confirm quality of subcontractors and Keller work throughout building process
  • Monitor and assure crews and contractors are meeting the scheduled deadlines and performing work according to the plan details
  • Maintain a safe jobsite
  • Schedule and document all owner/contractor meetings
  • Lead jobsite & preconstruction meetings
  • Handle on job problems as they arise
  • Perform manual labor as part of the crew when needed

Position Qualifications

  • Project Management or Safety Training (Preferred)
  • Associates Degree in Construction Management
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management (Preferred)
  • 5-10 years of commercial construction building (Preferred)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs ground to shoulder, 80lbs ground to carry height)
  • Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Knowledge of pre-engineered metal buildings
  • Must have a valid drivers license

  • Track earned value and project scope change impacts to baselined schedules and s-curves.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site crew, project managers, engineers, and contractors, to gather relevant project information and ensure accurate project scheduling.

  • Analyze synoptics and other technical documents to further identify risks in the L5 schedule.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to establish realistic project timelines, considering available technical constraints, resources and external factors.

  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying deviations from planned schedules and proposing appropriate corrective actions to keep the project on track.

  • Communicate project schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective and timely dissemination of information.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Proven experience as a Site Planner in the construction industry, with 2+ years of on-site planning experience for industrial projects

  • Strong proficiency in using scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6, for creating and managing project schedules and resources.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction planning and scheduling principles, techniques, and methodologies.

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and to understand the interdependencies between various activities (mechanical, electrical, piping.).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate scheduling conflicts and risks.

  • Proficiency in English communication.
