+ Assist in the training for yellow, and green belts.
+ Mentor and coach individuals throughout the process.

+ Assist in the maintenance and development of processes to measure six sigma problem solving performance.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 8-15 years of related experience

+ Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business <20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday

+ Have a successful track record of completing continuous improvement projects and have expertise in statistical methods e.g. pareto principle, multi-vari analysis, hypothesis testing, probability, DOE, Value Stream Mapping, etc. Strong skills in Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access and MiniTab are essential.
+ Other skill sets in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
+ Good communication skills, the ability to work effectively with people and the personal drive to act with a sense of urgency to provide needed support.

+ Must have a disciplined and organized approach of tracking and documenting project and company progress.

OVERVIEW:

The Business Process Analyst will work closely with the Strategic Initiatives team to identify, prioritize, and execute key initiatives to advance the quality of care, improve operational efficiency, and enhance provider satisfaction. Leveraging Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Business Process Management (BPM), and Data Analytics methodologies, the analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders and business leaders to lead discovery and process improvement efforts across the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead initiatives from initial concept through the Discovery phase, developing and executing comprehensive strategies for business process optimization and standardization
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Business Process Management principles to develop project plans and design/implement key processes that support organizational goals and drive continuous improvement
  • Facilitate Voice of the Customer (VOC) activities, such as brainstorming sessions, benchmarking, and focus groups, to gather insights and analyze customer needs, pain points, constraints, and assumptions that inform process improvement initiatives
  • Perform detailed process assessments, including process mapping and gap analysis, to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and standardizing business processes across the organization
  • Lead business process redesign initiatives to evaluate current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimized future-state processes that align with organizational objectives
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for business process improvements, aligning with organizational goals and ensuring continuous alignment with the company’s long-term vision and objectives
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) team to identify and support the implementation of technology and automation solutions that drive process optimization and standardization across the organization
  • Analyze operational and financial data, providing data-driven insights to inform and develop strategies for process improvement and future business initiatives
  • Measure post-release project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor and verify project success, identify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Manage customer expectations and provide regular project updates to senior leaders through project gate reviews
  • Support and partner with Project Managers and Data Analysts through different project phases and gate reviews

Reporting to the VP PMO, Continuous Improvement and Quality, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing and executing Continuous Improvement activities within the Convergix suite of companies utilizing Lean Six Sigma Tools. You will manage cross-functional teams to successfully complete these initiatives. Additionally, you will facilitate for targeted actives in support of the business including but not limited to; lessons learned, value-stream mapping, rapid improvement Kaizen events and identifying and eliminating barriers to continuous improvements.

  • Assist in the prioritization of initiatives
  • Establish measurement criteria, quantify targeted results, and identify anticipated benefits
  • Improve processes by eliminating waste
  • Maintain Convergix database of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Generating clear problem statements/gap analyses
  • Identifying actionable metrics and benchmarks to track improvements
  • Training and empowering each team to lead projects and work to share best practices with other Business Units
  • Providing motivation, a sense of urgency, focus, and direction to team members
  • Preparing and presenting regular updates summarizing project results
  • Evaluating and ensuring project effectiveness
  • Meet annual targets or project specific goals for cost savings that exceed this position’s annual overhead costs
  • Train others (managers and individual contributors) in Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies with emphasis on problem identification, establishing base lines, and root cause analysis.
  • Coach/mentor individuals at all levels of the company who are engaged in process improvement, problem identification and solution implementation.
  • Look for and anticipate the need for improvement and serve as a catalyst for change.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships across all business functions and all levels of the organization
  • Lead teams in troubleshooting and resolution of machines / systems failing to meet the contracted acceptance criteria

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience deploying Lean Six Sigma, including experience in both direct and indirect (transactional) processes
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
  • Have led at least 10 continuous improvement projects and/or formal Kaizen events
  • Must have the ability to become proficient in company systems, processes, and tools
  • Experience in custom engineered solution businesses as well as factory automation is ideal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and MiniTab, experience with LeanDNA preferred
  • 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation and an ability to travel; Lean Six Sigma Black Belts should have the ability to travel within the US and Canada
  • Travel for this opportunity will be approximately 50% depending on the successful candidate’s proximity to Convergix Business Units

- Prior military or government service within the Department of Defense.
- Proficiency in performance improvement frameworks such as Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Agile or Scrum methodologies, and/or P2P.
- Experience in developing and tracking metrics, driver trees, conducting cause-and-effect analysis, and reporting structures.
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis, recommend, and implement corrective action plans.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft executive-level presentations, briefing materials, and summary papers.
- Proficiency in crafting change management strategies for organizational buy-in and engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with Navy leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in dynamic and iterative environments, adjusting priorities to meet evolving Navy goals and objectives.

- U.S. Navy Fleet experience and knowledge of Navy governance forums and reporting structures including Echelon 1 and Supported Commander forums (e.g., Aviation, Surface, SUB/Shipyards, Supply, MyNavyHR, Cyber Mission Force, Strategic Sealift, or Military Construction.
- Experience supporting Navy-specific initiatives, such as P2P, "Get Real Get Better" (GRGB), and familiarity with the Naval Performance Improvement Educational Resources (NPIER) toolset is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to driver decisions and develop actionable insights.
- Experience working in or supporting defense or government organizations is a strong plus.

**Position Overview:** Provide support to DISA/JSP with integrated logistics support and property management services
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Provide comprehensive document production support, graphics development, and technical writing of SOPs, workflow, and process development.
+ Perform requirements analysis and draft related management processes. Ensure the processes provide for the documentation of enterprise level workflows, business processes, data, and services.
+ Update and/or develop SOPs to identify collaborative responsibilities and support process interaction with other Government and contractor IT groups.
