Operating with a patient ratio of 1:15 days, 1:19 evenings and 1:25 nights, our unit cares for patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), COPD, Diabetes, ESRD, Renal Failure, Dementia, Stroke, and Heart Disease. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals requiring temporary rehab assistance and LTC needs.

Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within his/her scope of practice within the Subacute setting. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in the Subacute Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He/she communicates with physicians, the Subacute Unit Director, Charge RN, and/or co-workers about changes in the patient-s clinical condition including cardiac and respiratory monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Works with other departments and co-workers to provide quality patient care across the continuum, efficient patient flow, unit maintenance and organization. Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures. Participates actively in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services. Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $51.00. About The Job :
The Universal/Multi-skilled Operator is responsible for safely and proficiently operating a variety of large, heavy machinery such as Dozers, Cranes, Excavators, and Motor Graders. This versatile role requires expertise in handling various equipment types, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
What You'll Do :
1. Equipment Operation
- Operate a range of heavy machinery, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, motor graders, etc. depending on project requirements.
- Ensure the safe operation of the equipment and perform routine equipment maintenance checks.
- Follow instructions provided by supervisors or production plans to meet desired operational goals.
- Handle materials with care to prevent spills, waste, or damage to equipment and surrounding infrastructure.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain awareness of surroundings, equipment, and personnel to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to execute tasks according to project specifications.
- Ensure the efficient use of equipment to meet project timelines.
- Identify and address issues or challenges during equipment operation, troubleshooting as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform thorough pre and post operation checks of the dragline to identify safety or mechanical defects.
- Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues to the maintenance department.
- Maintain accurate records of materials loaded and unloaded.
- Complete log sheets, work orders, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications
Skills You'll Need :
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Trade school diploma or certificate in equipment operation is highly desired.
Experience: Previous experience in operating large dozers, cranes, excavators and motor graders is required.
Certifications/Licenses: A valid driver's license is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A strong commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Familiarity with equipment controls and operation techniques.
