Job Description The Software Services Product Manager will be responsible for managing our Workstation and Client/Server Services and partnering with key stakeholders to manage products throughout their lifecycle. You will be part of an experienced team of Product Managers that enable the portfolio direction, development, and integration for our customers. We have a great opportunity for growth in this business and need an enthusiastic and driven individual to help reach those goals. The Services Product Management team has a global footprint and will enable you to have an impact around the globe. Your day-to-day interactions will include individuals across businesses functions including other product managers, sales, delivery, and operations. Your work will be focused on ensuring portfolio consistency globally, introducing new service products to drive incremental revenue, and partnering across divisions and portfolios to enable bundling or workflow opportunities. These will be driven through direct VoC, alignment with the Enterprise Strategy, and governed by our Product Lifecycle process. Responsibilities Include Serving as the subject matter expert of WorkStation and Client/Server Software Services Maintaining annual operational plan and longer-term portfolio strategy Building business case proposals for product opportunities, and lead them from inception through ramp-to-volume Determining pricing and bundling strategies Partnering with Services and Software Product Managers to build seamless product value propositions and customer experiences. Identify new opportunities for growth through direct VoC and market sensing activities Support the maintenance, correction, and improvement of internal document resources Provide management updates and status reports of business results against business targets Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Science related field or equivalent. MBA preferred Previous Product management experience (5+ years) with demonstrated knowledge and projects Familiar with SAP/ERP preferred Demonstrated experience with Software business models such as SaaS and licensing entitlements Demonstrated success in gathering “voice of the customer” Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint and Teams Ability to work independently to plan, prioritize workload, schedule time, assess and solve problems Familiar with life science hardware, analytical chemistry hardware and software preferred Ability to travel up to 10% Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $159,744.00 - $49,600.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your Impact

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be a key player in deploying and supporting Axon's software solutions directly within law enforcement agencies. You will leverage your expertise in Axon products and services to provide high-level technical support, manage complex deployments, and foster strong customer relationships.   • Lead Technical Support: Act as the main technical liaison for assigned agencies, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with Axon's products and services.
  • Drive Deployments: Collaborate with deployment teams to design, configure, test, and implement Axon software solutions, ensuring successful rollouts.
  • Manage Crisis Situations: Respond quickly to critical technical issues, acting as a crisis manager to restore functionality and minimize impact on agency operations.
  • Advocate for Customers: Represent agency needs and feedback internally at Axon, influencing product development and service improvements.
  • Promote Best Practices: Guide agencies through change management processes, identifying pain points and providing solutions to optimize software usage and adoption.

  • Provide Onsite Support: Work onsite with customers to resolve issues, provide training, and ensure the agency's needs are met promptly.
What You Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in a technical account management or similar customer-facing role, preferably within the public safety or software sectors.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in deploying SaaS solutions, including configuring, testing, and troubleshooting complex software applications.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, customer support) to deliver high-quality support and product improvements.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work onsite with customers and be available outside of normal business hours for critical issues.
  • Compliance: Ability to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Experience building custom dashboards, writing SQL queries, and using advanced analytics tools.
  • Experience in Public Safety: Previous experience supporting or working with public safety or law enforcement agencies.
  • Certifications: Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Law Enforcement Systems: Familiarity with law enforcement software systems such as RMS, CAD, and CJIS standards is highly desirable.
