  • Provide sound decision making for software engineering and product development, sensitive to the constraints and needs of the business.
  • Stays current with emerging technology trends in product area and presents to software engineering team for their understanding, specifically AI.
  • Assess staffing needs and recruit staff using methods such as newspaper advertisements or attendance at job fairs.
  • Recruits, trains, schedules and evaluates subordinates according to established procedures.
  • Additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Requirements
  • Experience with the following: MySQL, PostGres, PHP, .NET ,Angular, React and Microservices.
  • Experience with AWS services is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Capable of communicating with technical and non-technical people.
  • Strong team player with the ability to train, tutor and lead.
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented, highly motivated independent worker who works well in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities-
- Design and develop a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which will store all critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and Benefits data;
- Design, develop, and implement methods, processes, tools, and analyses to sift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns;
- Participate in delivery of definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across the enterprise via analytics and reporting;
- Conceive, plan, and deliver new initiatives;
- Provide expert content and professional leadership on complex Engineering assignments and projects;
- Advise functional leaders using professional and technical knowledge and acumen; and
- Act as an internal subject matter expert.

Qualifications-
- Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology Management, Computers, or Engineering;
- 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation;
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs using Spring framework, Maven, Hibernate, and Oracle DB;
- Experience using log4j for logging information and for testing;
- Experience performing operations with GIT such as code merging, resolving conflicts, pull, push, stash, and creating a pull request;
- Experience developing Junit test cases and performing unit testing via POSTMAN;
- Experience working with frontend developers on integrating API's and validating the API;
- Experience configuring Jenkins pipeline for auto deployments and using Jenkins for CI/CD and Pivotal Cloud Platform for deploying applications;
- Experience verifying expected system behavior after deployment;
- Experience performing code reviews and fixes necessary to address defects observed in the QA environment;
- Experience with production support for ongoing issues and performing release support elevation windows;
- Experience working on integrating tools like checkmarx to resolve all checks; and
- Experience using Behavior Driven Development to build out required software test scripts to meet standards and improve the maintainability of robust, performant software.
