Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree.

• Proven experience in software/data engineering, with a focus on healthcare data. Previous leadership or management experience is preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in designing solutions and strategic planning, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and .NET full stack development. Experience with data engineering tools and platforms like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.

• Experience with developing cloud-native services and applications, either on the public cloud (AWS/Google/Azure) or an equivalent private cloud.

• Experience with healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, as well as healthcare systems and domains (FHIR/HL7, EMR/EHR, Claims, Members, Providers, Payors, etc.).

• Experience with designing and implementing well-thought-out APIs in a service-oriented architecture.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $150,000 - 185,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. Overview of Job Function:

Verint's Manager, Engineering leads one or more product engineering teams within our WFM product family. This Manager serves as a driver to organize development, quality verification and delivery of large-scale, high availability solutions. • Help identify and propose solutions for technical and organizational gaps in our performance, analytics, monitoring, and customer features by ensuring key metrics are met and proper SLOs are in place

• Participate in the evolution of Invoicing, Direct Costs, and Pay at Procore

• Create and share best practices for the development and deployment of tool engineering solutions

• Working alongside our Product and UX teams, you'll leverage your experience and expertise in application and tool building to influence our product roadmap, developing innovative solutions that add additional capabilities to our tools, and offer appropriate trade-offs

• Identify hiring needs and partner with recruiting through the hiring process

• Provide opportunities for career development, including through promotion, technical growth, and stretch assignments

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of leading and managing a team of engineers and 6+ years of hands-on coding and software design experience and application development experience.

• Experience with AWS (EC2), Cloudflare, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and PostgreSQL is preferred

• Experience building and optimizing application and database services, and architectures

• Understanding the tradeoffs between short-term and long-term goals and balancing immediate needs with strategic initiatives

• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders - including Product and Design

• Demonstrated track record of developing the technical skills of and providing growth within the organization for team members

• Experience running teams that operate using agile and scrum methodologies

• Nice to have: experience with accounting and accounts receivable and payable systems

Base Pay Range $168,560 - $231,770. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. About The Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who will be responsible for managing a group of smart engineers from a human and technical perspective. Engineering Managers are expected to be hands-on leaders who can plan projects, review code, and contribute directly. You will be working across multiple stacks of technologies and will be in charge of building and maintaining the core parts of our platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a hands-on software engineer as well as with leading engineering teams and driving technical initiatives. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about building innovative technologies, is customer-focused, and is able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate closely with the product team, ensuring that the engineering team is delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations and align with the product roadmap.
